"Alright. I shall find Christabel and bring her to you. Alright, Shane?" She said with a smile on her lips and Shane hugged her tightly. She did the same with him too, welcoming his embrace.
"I'm so sorry, mum," Shane said penitently and Diane looked at him in bewilderment.
"What for?"
"I'm sorry for not being appreciative enough, mom. I'm so sorry for always acting like you aren't enough," he said, looking up at his mother.
"I should be apologising instead, Shane. You've been nothing short of amazing. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm sorry for always nagging at you. I'm sorry for always making you angry at me. It's my fault, Shane. Not yours. I promise to make things right for us both. I promise to be a better version of myself for us. I only
