EPISODE 13 [THE TRUTH BEHIND PT2]

"Finally we met, Adalia Bake." He said making me go numb.My heart raced uncontrollably. Adalia? Does he already know me?

"Who are you?" I asked trying to keep my cool.

"ME?" He chuckled. "The person you want to marry." he smirked.

"Excuse me, name please name?" I asked him. I was seriously getting f****d up with all these new entries in my life.

"So impatient ah. It's gonna be a fun night." he kept chuckling.

"Look mister, I'm not here to play.” I said getting irritated by his behavior.

"I know Adalia, you are not here to play. But that's really such a daring decision to take. To take a place of a s*x worker and help that child, making her escape, you are still the same 'DumbHead'."

I looked at him shocked, so he knew I made her escape. What happened to them? Now I'm seriously dead worried about them. I decided to keep my cool.

"By looking at the way you call me, seems like you know me and my family. Why don't we skip unwanted talks and get on to the point." I said trying to make him speak fact other than nonsense.

"As cold as always." He said as he laughed a little.

"If we have nothing to talk. I'll take my leave." I turned around to walk away.

"So you ran away from home? Just because they snatched your CEO position?"

I stopped on my tracks. I turned around slowly.

"How do you know?"

"Well, everyone in the business knows Adalia. It's just that you are unaware of your own position. You have no idea how much you are envied, how much other business people wants to bring you down, how much people wants to work with you. AND...."he stopped.

"And?" I asked.

"And How much your family is protecting you." He finished the line.

My eyes narrowed, staring up straight into his eyes.

I scoffed "Protecting?" I felt he knows something I don't know. Things that have been hidden from me. So, I continued. Making him tell. So I asked, “You mean, throwing your own daughter out to protect her?"

He chuckled.

"It sounds so bad when you put it like that. But from my point, they took the right decision." He said calmly.

"I don't have time for your nonsense. Straight to the point please." I said coldly.

"Few days before you received 'Hui-Soeks' Marriage proposal, didn't you? Why do you think they want you to be their daughter-in-law? Cared to even think about it? Take a moment think carefully." He said as he got down from the bed and slowly walked around me in circles.

"Do you still think is it because of your fathers friendship?"

I looked at him confused and slowly nodded. He smirked.

"You are just all so good in business, but honestly you are a Dumbhead in common sense aren't you?" he laughed.

I glared at him.

"A woman, single handedly bought up a company to one of the top most paramedical in Korea. A women well known to public, A women good at business, A women who could give a heir to their generation, A women so business minded. What else they needed for their family. Marry you while you are at the CEO position then Han-Yak is under them. Two companies merge which makes them unbeatable. To be honest, we business people were worried, whether you will accept their proposal. But sweetheart you never fail to impress me.” His breath tickling my neck. He was standing so close yet not touching.

"You father and so called mother already knew this. They had to act soon. They had no other way, than to bring you down and bring your younger brother to the position. Nobody knows where your elder brother went, they cannot wait for his return. They know your younger brother is too young to take up the position but they have to do for you. Your family made many sacrifices Adalia. Just to protect you. They do not want you to follow this path. They know you do not want to do this too."

My eyes teared up, so this was all act. This is why they acted like this?

"Who ARE you? How do you know all these?" I turned around looking at him.

"ME? I told you, The person you always wanted to marry."

I sghed.

"I told you NOT to talk nonsense-" Suddenly It flashed me, the images of the night. I looked at him shocked.

"Yo-Yohan?" I stammered.

"Finally! Hi LOVE." He smiled.

My heart started to race.I slowly backed up. I looked at him then over the room. I'm trapped. Now I understand why they say there is no escape from here.

"I told you, 'One day you, yourself will come for me and that day there is no turning back."

My legs hit the bed and made be stumble back. I sat on the bed leaning back as he pushed me on the bed.

"Y-Yohan stop, Let me go." I pleaded.

"I asked my men to get silver but they bought me Diamond. How can I let it go?" He smirked as he hovered above me and kissed my forehead.

"I was waiting for you for years and you decide to show up NOW?"

"You gave your word love, that you will turn my kindness one day." He trailed his nose along my jaw.

"I will. I will surely return your kindness but not this way and NOT TODAY!"

I pushed him hard and hoped down from bed. I found some candles lit at the corner of the room. I took it and threw it on the screens covering the bed. The fire slowly started to burn around the bed. I opened the door and looked around the corridor with my nervousness I forgot the way. Which way should I go? I started running towards the left side of the corridor, this gown was really making it hard to run. Suddenly someone pulled me into a room and closed it. I looked at him and gasped.

"Kai? " I hugged him tight. "Thank goodness you are safe" I cupped his face.

"Are you worrying about me now? Look at yourself. what's wrong with you?" He said furiously.

"Where's the kid?" I asked him.

"I sent her to the station according to our plan."

We heard people running around the corridor.

"Where is she?" Yohan said. We could hear him through the room.

"She is not downstairs.Must be hiding in some of these rooms. " A man said.

"Check all rooms in this corridor." Yohan yelled.

"But Boss, these are VVIP rooms, what if we run into someone in the middle of-"

"I don't care, I want her now. Look for a girl in red gown." he shouted.

"Ok Boss, got it. I'll bring all the extra keys.”

"What are we gonna do? Is there any way we can escape?" I asked Kai.

"Window, we have to use the window but we are now on 3rd floor. how will we get down?" He replied.

We heard footsteps, I looked at Kai horrified.

"They are coming to this room." I said.

He suddenly ripped my clothes and put it in the dustbin and took his shirt and made me wear that . His eyes were shut down. 'WHAT a gentleman!' He pushed me to the bed and hovered above me.

Before I could say something he stomped his lips on mine. I struggled under him. He thrust his tongue into my mouth. I started to hit his shoulder wanting him to stop, he grabbed my hands and pinned it above my head and held it with his single hand. His other hand tracing my neck.

It was a whole new sensation. My mind screamed at me to stop but my body was reacting the totally other way. I slowly kissed him back. After sharing a rough and wild kiss he let go and stared at my eyes straightly still hovering over me. I pulled him again into a kiss. Suddenly the door opened revealing some security guards. Kai stopped and glared at them. He slowly cupped my face and buried it into his chest.

"Do you people have no manners?" He asked his tone hard and cold.

"We are sorry, but we are under orders." The man replied apologically.

"Can't you see to whom you are talking to?" Kai pointed out the gold card on the table.

"We are extremely sorry" they hurriedly left the room closing the door behind.

Kai quickly got off me and pulled me up to stand up.

"We can't go out with you dressed like this. Wear this." He said as he handed me his coat. Now I was wearing his shirt and his coat that covered till my knees.

Kai went near the window and pulled it up. He was right we were three stories up. He took all his belongings turning off the lights and stepped out of the window landing on the sunshade. I was still under the process of not knowing what exactly happened now. I stood there paced out. I looked at him outside the window signaling me to come closer. I snapped back to reality. He lifted me up the bridal style from the sunshade. He turned and closed the window. We both looked down. Thankfully the sunshade was long enough for us to walk and reach the corner of the building. There was a tree branch near the building.

He carefully stepped on the branch and helped me to get on the tree. The tree had a lot of braches wide around it so it was easy for us to get down without getting hurt. As soon as we got down. He called a taxi that drove us towards railway station. I sighed in relief. I looked at Kai. His face hard and cold. He looked scary. I don't know what was going on his mind but he looked scary, very scary.
