Alex's POV:
The arrival of the morning was faster than a shooting star, without getting a wink of sleep. I was amused with the rate of my energy level, ready to take action immediately if it was warranted.
My thoughts kept circling around if the fight was worth persisting over. I had risked a lot and put in so many efforts, everything should not eventually go to waste.
I made up my mind not to give up on the position, I'd fight for it and also deal with the people that made it difficult for me.
The full moon was in two days and there was no assurance of a wedding. Laura had always been sneaky, I wouldn't be surprised if a wedding actually held on the night of the full moon, I had to be prepared.
