Engagement Party

Everyone was preparing for the engagement party but Anaya was standing alone on the rooftop when someone suddenly grabbed her shoulder. She was startled and looked behind her and saw a man smiling at her. The man was around in his thirties with grey hair and six feet tall. He was wearing a black suit but didn't look like a gentleman.

Anaya felt there is something about him which gave her a bad vibes. She moved back a little and asked, "Excuse me? Who are you? What are you doing here?"

"My aunt said you are a quite girl but you are blabbering too much. I don't like those women who talk much. Be polite to your future husband or there will be consequences," the man threatened Anaya. Then he looked at her from head to toe.

"You look gorgeous and your body seems perfectly fit to mine. I love it," he said while his eyes were still on her chest. Anaya ran from away towards her room. Tears glistening on her eyes. "He is just a pervert and arrogant man," Anaya mumbled.

Evening came, Anaya was sitting on her bed in a red body hugging gown with a slit on the left side. She was looking sexy. Anaya heard her aunt's voice to go down so she stood up and walked down to the staircase.

Her Aunt Janet was about to announce their engagement when a grumpy woman's voice abruptly entered the hall. "Stop this nonsense!"

An elegant looking lady entered, "Anaya can't be engaged to anyone she's engaged with my son! She's his fiancee." Anaya's eyes lit up seeing her godmother when she's about to give up her life.

Steven Thompson was dumbfounded after Amanda Black made her appearance in the party. Even though he was not interested in business, he knew the power and authority has Amanda Black. He was even more shocked when Amanda claimed about the engagement of Anaya and her son. He didn't dare to say a word and froze while standing beside her wife.

Meanwhile, Anaya ran to her godmother and hugged her tightly with teary eyes. "Ma, why are you so late? Where were you? Why didn't you come when mom and dad passed away?" Anaya blasted her with questions one after another.

Her godmother was the only person in the world she can open her heart out. "Ssshhhh my little Ana don't cry. Ma is here na? I've come to take you with me. Sorry for being so late, My sugar."

"I missed you, Ma. I missed you a lot," Anaya cried.

"What is happening here and who are you? What do you mean by she's your son's fiancee?" Janet was pissed at this elegant lady. She couldn't wait more and yelled at Amanda.
