The day was bright and beautiful, the air cool against the skin, she stood at the kitchen making pancakes and humming.birds twittering.
Wearing an oversized house wear.
Victoria stared disdainful at her as she sipped her coffee beside her brother.
Luther, oblivious to the tension between Michelle and Victoria, asked his sister to take his wife shopping for a new dress.
"Victoria, would you mind taking wifey to that new boutique on 5th Street? She needs a new dress for the charity gala tonight."
Indignation at the name of the word wifey,
Victoria's face twisted in disgust. "Me? Take her shopping? You can't be serious, brother."
Luther still clueless, replied, "Yes, I think it would be great for you two to bond. Michelle it would greatly please me, you go have fun with my sister."
Michelle hesitated, sensing the impending doom, she better hold her temper before she would return his sister blue eyed, but luther's enthusiasm was infectious. "Okay, dear. Let's go, Victoria."
As soon as they arrived at the boutique, Victoria's rudeness escalated.
"Ugh, try this one," Victoria said, handing Michelle ,a gaudy, neon pink dress. "It's perfect for your... limited taste."
Michelle politely declined, choosing a elegant black gown instead. Victoria scoffed.
"That's boring. You need something that screams 'look at me, I'm a gold-digger'!"
The sales associate intervened, "Ma'am, I think the black dress suits her perfectly."
Victoria glared at the associate. "Mind your own business. I know what I'm doing."
As they left the boutique, Michelle turned to Victoria and said, "Thanks for 'helping' me. I think."
Victoria smirked. "Anytime, dear. After all, someone has to teach you how to dress like a billionaire's wife."
The tension between them was palpable, and Michelle couldn't wait to get back to Luther ,he must be lonely and escape Victoria's toxic behavior.

As the evening to the charity gala arrived,
Victoria and Michelle stood in luther's closet, surrounded by rows of sleek suits. They were determined to choose the perfect one for him to wear to the charity gala.
"I think he should wear the navy blue suit," Michelle said, holding up the tailored garment.
"No way," Victoria countered, snatching the suit from Michelle's hands. "The black tuxedo is far more elegant."
she would strangle Victoria's throat, she though with gritted teeth.
"But the navy blue brings out the color in his eyes," Michelle argued.
Victoria scoffed. "His eyes are blind to your tricks, dear. The black tuxedo is classic and sophisticated."
The argument continued, with neither woman willing to concede. Finally, they decided to let Luther decide.
"Luther, come try on these suits," Victoria called out.
Luther walked into the closet with the aide of his cane, amused .he had heard there banter.
"Okay, ladies. Let's see what you've chosen."
Michelle helped him into the navy blue suit, while Victoria insisted he try on the black tuxedo.
As luther emerged from the dressing room, both women gasped.
"He looks stunning in both!" Michelle exclaimed.
Victoria nodded begrudgingly. "Yes, but the black tuxedo is still better."
Luther chuckled. "I think I'll wear... the navy blue suit."
Victoria's face fell, while Michelle beamed with triumph.
"Ah, Luther, you have excellent taste,"Michelle said, smiling.
Victoria huffed. "Fine, but I'm still right."
As they left for the gala, luther leaned over to Michelle and whispered, "You win this time, my love."
Michelle grinned, knowing she had won not only the suit debate but also Julian's approval.

That evening, Michelle had tried all the dresses she couldn't find a suitable one, exhausted she threw herself on the bed and gazed into space , finally wore the elegant black gown to the charity gala with by her side. They made a stunning couple, and Michelle felt like a princess.
She knew some people from the documents ,Luther had given her.staying by his side and telling him their names as they approach and height.
As they mingled with the guests, a woman approached them. "Luther, darling! Long time no see."
She didn't see this woman with brown hair on the file but it looked as if Luther knew her.
Luther though not seeing knew the voice, expression turned cold. "Samantha. What are you doing here?"
Samantha's eyes locked onto Michelle ."And who's this... creature you've married? She's not exactly your type, is she?"
Michelle eyes narrowed. "I'm his wife.
Samantha sneered. "Oh, I know all about you. You're the wife, the one he married out of pity. You're not good enough for him, dear."
Luther's face reddened with anger. "Samantha, that's enough!"
But Samantha continued, her voice rising. "You deserve so much better, Luther. Someone like me, who knows your worth."
Michelle, knew this one was about to cause a commotion here.
Luther fury boiled over. "How dare you! Sheila is my wife, and I cherish her. You're just a bitter former lover who can't move on."
The room fell silent, with all eyes on the confrontation. Michelle hand on Julian's arm calmed him slightly.
Samantha's face twisted in anger. "You'll regret this, Luther .You'll realize she's not worthy of you."
With that, she stormed off, leaving an uncomfortable silence behind. Luther turned to Michelle, his eyes still blazing with anger.
"I'm so sorry, Michelle. I had no idea she'd be here."
Michelle smiled softly. "It's okay, Julian. I can handle her. I'm not going anywhere."
Luther's expression softened, and he pulled Michelle close,Causing her to blush.
Wish I could see how pretty you would look in your dress, wifey.he said quietly to her.
Her smile broaden, she tentatively touched his face and with her heels she still had to raise her self to kiss him on his cheek .
He smiled,dimples showing.
His dimples were beautiful, she had just noticed it and was quite glad about it.
