Bast has been driving me to and from school quite a bit, apparently, Uncle Eric feels comforted with the idea that at least one of them drives me. And Holden is far too “busy” to do it. Bast even drops me off at the lab to do work on the Ender Project.
The guards have further lessened their attentiveness towards me, I don’t blame them, considering how their boss treats me. The servants are mostly nice enough, but they also treat me similarly to a guest that has overstayed her welcome. But believe me, I would rather live alone on the other side of the world than be here right now.
