Holden POV For the next two weeks, I don’t speak to Aspen. Hell, I hardly even see her except for family breakfast and dinner every day. I can’t believe she would actually replace the ring I gave her, my mother's ring. I left the ring by my bedside table. I give it a quick glance before I make my way to the dining room table. "Ah, there you are.” My father gestures me to sit down across from Aspen. As I take my seat, I notice Aspen not eating much, yet again. I don’t bother with it. “Why don’t you take Aspen to school tomorrow?” “I’m busy.” I don’t bother looking up from the table as I start eating.
