The Fallen Alpha

Opening your eyes to see you're being ambushed. Can't be good, can it? Through clouded thoughts, I noticed it was not just an ambush, it was an invasion from the Silver Pack. Is a Pack full of arrogant "Cubs" who thought they could defeat the number one Pack, you know the name right? "The Rose Pack" obviously! After my Pack, the Silver Pack had always ranked second amongst the packs during the rank ritual. The Rank Ritual happened once every year to determine the strongest pack, and guess what¡­? Today happens to be a long-awaited day. My Beta female Mary-Rose was already outside facing the Silver Pack. Smiles, you may be thinking that we live in a cave or something, but NO! we live in a big mansion, and yes! right there, in the middle of Manhatten. "How dare you!" a familiar voice shouted. I looked outside from my bedroom to see Mary had beaten up all the "Cubs" including Augustus Silver, the pack leader. "How dare you touch me, you insolent slave!" Shouted Augustus "You're just weak!" Ouch! Mary got him there, and I knew I was right, staring at his painful facial expression. "Mistress Alexia" called out a voice. I instantly turned my head to see Miss Sandra at my door. Sandra continued, "You have an interview by 11 o'clock Mistress." "Don't fret Sandra, I still have time." "It's 10:30 Mistress!" What!!! I looked at the time and confirmed she was right. Jeez! if I wasn't a werewolf with supernatural abilities I would have been late. Five minutes later, I was already in my car heading for Sony Works, I had an interview for the post of Secretary there. As much as I hated it, I had to get a job so that I could blend in with the human specie. I got there just in time for the interview, and next to me sat a young man probably in his early twenties, he was cute, no he was hot, he had the perfect body, OMG!!! He was a 10 out of 10! Damn! He had the build of a demigod, "I would love to eat him up" I said in my head. "Miss Rose...!" Hearing my name made me come back to reality, and I realized it was my turn, so I quickly organized myself, and went into the interviewer's office. Immediately I closed the door behind me, I heard a chuckle. "I should have known it was you Alexia" I turned to see who it was, Ben! He was my friend but from the Silver Pack. I know what you're thinking, isn't he my rival or something? Well, let me clear this up. Regardless of the various Packs, we are all the same breed, and we fight for each other. Not all wolves from different packs hate each other. Ben and I have been friends since we were cubs, despite being from different packs, that didn't matter to us. Wow! I was relieved knowing that he was the interviewer, so the job was mine. "Oh my God, Ben, it's you. How long has it been?" "I don't know, but it's nice to see you again," Ben replied with a smile. He was cute when he did that, and I would have fallen for him if I wasn't a year older than him. He was also married, and already had 3cubs. Sadly, I'm 25 and have yet to meet any alpha male, but that didn't bother me so much since I still had time. "So are you gonna interview me or not?" I asked. "Nah, I don't see a reason to do so, you're the top alpha female after all." "Aww... I'm not that good yunno." "Aren't you Alexia, who defeated ten Alpha males in the silver pack!" "Alright alright, I admit it, I was powerful and strong." Sheepishly smiling at him. "So... I got the job right?" "Yeah! Of course." Ben replied warmly. "Thanks, aa...." My call ringtone cut me off. I checked who was calling, it was Mary. "Hey, Mary what's up." "Alexia! Could you hurry up and come over." "Sure, what's the problem." "I'll tell you when you get here." Jeez! so secretive. "Ok, give me five minutes." Then I hung up. "I guess you'll be taking your leave now right?" Ben asked. "Yeah, I have to see what's up." "Ok then, later." "Alright, take care." I got up, and hurriedly headed for the door. What the hell had happened? Mary doesn't sound so tense like this, it must be something very important… A lot crossed my mind in a few seconds. I was about to open the door when Ben said. "Oh! yeah, before I forget, be careful! The Silver Pack is planning something against the Rose Pack." Out of curiosity, I wanted to ask what it was, but the look on his face told me that no matter how I asked, I wouldn't get an answer, so I left quietly. On my way out I bumped into a man, missed my step, and we both fell, leaving me on top of his chest. OMG! It was the cute guy earlier. He looked at me and apologized, but I was too busy lusting over his body to answer. Damn! "Are you okay ma'am?" The question brought me back to my senses and I realized I was still on top of him. Gosh! I was embarrassed, I stood up immediately, and apologized. He just smiled and asked for my name. "Alexia Rose," I replied. "Wow, I'm Leon Crimson, nice meeting you Alexia." He smiled at me, took out a pen and paper, wrote his number, and gave it to me. "Call me when you're free." That was fast! Jeez, I was dumbfounded. Did he just give me his number? I was still standing, hoping I was dreaming, till I heard my phone ring. "Hello." "Alexia! Where are you?" Mary shouted Damn! I almost forgot about her. "I'm on my way." Quickly, I hurried to my car and headed for the mansion. "Mistress, you're back." Damion bowed his head immediately after I came out of the car. Damion is my butler, though pale and skinny, he may not look like it with his structure, but he is one of the top male alphas in the Rose Pack. "The Omitron needs your attention," said Damion. The Omitron was a group of Werewolves who were the strongest in their time. "Is that why Mary was calling me," I asked. He replied, "Yes mistress." I wondered what had happened to make them summon me. I looked at Damion and told him to go to his position, after he was gone I made my way to the back of the mansion and walked into the warehouse behind. Hmmm, this warehouse, I had a lot of memories in this place, I looked up at the picture of my late father and smiled. Remembering the days I spent with him, I bit my finger to let the blood drip from it, I placed the dripping finger on the picture, then the carpet under shifted, revealing a door, the gateway to the Omitron's hideout, an island of no origin and position. I still don't understand how a door here can take someone to a place so far, I entered anyway. I came out, blinded by a very bright light. "Welcome! Alexia Rose." Boomed a familiar voice. Chapter 2: Meeting with the Omitron When I had adjusted from the light, I saw who it was, Scarlet Rose, my mum. The only beta wolf to get into the Omitron. "Scarlet??? I've told you to stop doing that, you're not the Head of the Omitron!" I looked up to see a man sitting at the middle front of the table, he was wearing a beach shirt with khaki shorts, but most importantly he was giving off a powerful aura. I took note not to mess with that guy. "Sorry Savita, it's just that it's been a long time since I've seen my daughter." Savita sighed "Don't worry about it, what's done is already done." Then he looked at me, "We are not here for a family reunion, rather we are here to congratulate you Alexia on your 18th win of the Rank Ritual." Wow!!! I was shocked because I had forgotten. Today was the ritual and I had won. Technically, Mary won since I didn't do anything, not because I couldn't, but because I couldn't waste my energy on the "_Silver Pack Cubs_" "Thank you your...." I paused not knowing what to call him but then my mum coughed "Honor." "Thank you, your honor!" "Do it on one knee." Scowled Savita. Huh? At first, I was infuriated by the fact I had to bow on my knee and thank him, but that's when the name kicked in "Savita!". How could I forget him, my dad told me stories about the great Savita who ruled over the Omitron, no one knows what he is or where he came from but all they know is he is omnipotent and immortal. So I bowed on one knee " Thank you, your honor!" By the time I looked up, Savita was already gone. "Where did he go?" I asked. "Honestly we don't know." My mum replied. Then a familiar voice spoke. "He always does things like that." it was my elder brother, Alexander, he was chosen to join the Omitron because he protected the rose pack from five hundred wolf hunters. "It's been a long time, little sis, how are you doing?" He asked with a smile. "I'm doing great……" "Also If I ever hear anything happened to the pack, I'll kill you," Alexander added. Jeez, what a rude way to cut me off and with a scary face too. "C'mon Alexander loosen up, oh and by the way, Alexia, my name is Bride." I looked at the lady who spoke, she was sitting beside my mum, she was fat with wrinkles all over her face but she was pretty. "Nice to meet you, Miss Bride." "Nice to meet you too." She replied with a smile. Then I remembered that the Omitron had eight members but there were only four people here, Scarlet Rose, Alexander Rose, Bride, and One man. "Are you wondering where the others are?" I woke up from my thoughts to notice the man had spoken for the first time since I arrived. "Yeah I was, and you are?" "The name is Fang." He replied and lit the cigarette he was smoking. "Ok so is there a reason why the rest aren't here," I asked "Well if you're wondering why they ain't here then I'll have to tell you." he dropped the cigarette looking me straight in the eye. "I don't know." He said plainly. "Wait he's joking right." I thought to myself. "He didn't just get my hopes high only to crush it right?" As if reading my mind, he smirked at me. Okay, I had enough of the Omitron drama today. I was gonna lose it if I stayed one more second there. "Sweetie if you want to leave you are free to ask." I looked at my mum. "How did she." "Read your mind." she completed "It's one of my abilities." Okay, I had heard of werewolves who could read minds but I never imagined my mum will be one. "So can I leave?" I paused "Mother." She looked at me and said, " You can teleport from one place to another, so leave whenever." She was right I could use the flash ability to appear anywhere I want but with a condition that I must have been to the place. "Those that mean I can leave?" I asked. "Yes my child," she replied. I tried flashing myself to my room but nothing happened. Alexander started laughing "Your abilities don't work here dummy." He said "Wait, why," I said surprised "That's how it has been Alexia," Mum answered. "So how am I gonna go home?" I asked calmly. "I'll flash you there myself," Mum replied. "Your abilities may not work but ours will." "So that's why Alexander had been so cocky, he knew I won't be able to use my abilities to fight him, hm! talk about cheeky." I said. "Well, time for you to go home and take care." She said that before she raised her hand and I saw myself in my room.
