Casey walked back to the medical room. She was exhausted from the events of the last few days and the very little sleep that she had gotten. She wanted to check on Isaiah before she went to bed. When she opened the medical room door, she found that Isaiah was awake. He was talking with Alpha Connor, but their conversation fell quiet when they heard the door open.
“Mr. Isaiah, you are awake. I thought you would be resting still. I just came by to see how you were feeling and if you needed anything,” Casey said, approaching his bed.
“I am fine, Casey. Thank you for checking up on me. That is very sweet of you. I was just talking to Connor about everything that has been going on. It has certainly been a crazy few days, hasn’t it?” Isaiah asked
