I walked into my room, although I won't call it a bedroom it more like a storage room but it still do for me just to keep my stuff which is not much, just three hoodie , baggie tees and trousers that are all worn out and a small bed to lay on. I have been living here for three years since my fourteen birthday and everyone has been treating me like a plague, avoided me and dumping all the pack work on me. My name is Amira Evelyn Woods and am the second daughter of the beta family of the blue moon pack. My family never really care about me before since they were expecting a boy when my mother was pregnant with me but I turn out to be a girl but my family didn't show it much untill I turn two when my brother, Daniel was born, he is going to be the future beta of our pack so he was loved and pampered by the whole pack and my elder sister grew up with the idea that she is going to be the future Luna of our pack making her extremely arrogant. They were also expecting a baby boy when they were pregnant with my sister but since some beta family was blessed with daughter as there first born so they were fine with my sister. My life got worse on my fourteen birthday that I wish never happened. It is a tradition for the whole pack to always gather together when a member of the pack is going to shift for the first time and I was hoping that maybe after I shift my family will look at me in a new light but the first hour of midnight pass without me feeling any pain but we wait for another two hours and I didn't shift that was when my Alpha announced me as an omega. Omega are scarce in the werewolf world the last omega was fifty years ago. Omegas are weaklings so most pack practice the act of elimination of the omegas immediately they are discover in a pack because they are considered as loopholes. Am still lucky that am still alive to this day even with the workload and cruelty of my pack members. I stop school immediately after my birthday by the command of my Alpha, I always wonder how it would have been if am allowed to attend school, am pretty sure that i will be bullied by my sister and her lackeys. I look at my reflection in the mirror. My blue eyes look dull , my frame looks thin probably out of malnutrition, my lips look pale, I look the least attractive. I look away from the mirror and quickly work out of me room to do the laundry, when I said dey dump the pack work on me I ain't joking about that, I do the laundry for everyone one living in the pack house, I do the cooking and cleaning and I run errands for them too. New shift wolves and mateless adult wolves live here so I do the laundry during noon when they are not at home and I clean their rooms too. I have to clean 80 rooms a day, cook breakfast and dinner and do the laundry, surprisingly I find it easy to balance all the work after a year of during this but sometimes am not so lucky because some of them deliberately dirty there rooms to add more work for me or add some clean clothes to the laundry but I can't complain.
