With Izzie Drake left in charge at the priory, together with Sam Gable and Ginger Devenish, Ross made his way back to headquarters with Derek McLennan.
He needed to know what McLennan had discovered from Doctor Nugent in his search for the remains of the real Brother Bernárd. If they could find the body, or what was left of it after such a long time, it might provide evidence that could help discover those who'd helped the impostor who had spent the last three years masquerading as the monk. If the organisation known as the Freedom Train were openly operating in the UK, Ross was determined to close it down.
