“The Summoning”

Episode 1: The Letter
The city was drowning in rain, every drop like a cold hand squeezing her heart. Elara stood alone in the hospital’s empty hallway, the harsh fluorescent lights flickering above her like a dying pulse. She had spent years healing broken bodies, but nothing could fix what Lucien had torn from her soul.
Then the letter came.
Blood-red wax sealed the envelope, and the name on it was written in dark, messy ink she hadn’t seen in years. Come to me, or lose what little you have left.
Her breath caught. Lucien—the man she loved and lost—was calling her back from the shadows.
He was gone before, disappeared without a trace, leaving only pain and questions behind. Now, this letter pulled her toward a place she had long tried to forget—the old manor where he lived, a place whispered about with fear and warning.
Elara’s hands trembled as she held the letter. She was a doctor, trained to save lives. But some wounds, the ones inside, couldn’t be fixed with medicine.
She folded the letter carefully and tucked it into her coat pocket. The night was cold and heavy with rain, the streets shiny and slippery beneath flickering gas lamps. Each step toward the forgotten quarter was like walking deeper into a nightmare she couldn’t escape.
At last, she reached the manor’s iron gates, rusted and bent, like the heart she carried inside. The tall, dark building seemed to watch her, its windows like hollow eyes hiding secrets.
Elara took a deep breath, her pulse loud in her ears.
There was no turning back now.
This night would change everything.
