In a world where dungeon gates began appearing a decade ago, humanity barely clings to survival as monsters pour into reality. To combat the threat, humans awakened as "Hunters"—superpowered individuals capable of entering these dungeons and slaying the beasts within. Among them, one realm reigned above all others: The Abyssal Spire, an infinite tower accessible only to the strongest, the maddest, and the most ambitious. At the top of that tower stood one man—known only as the Phantom. A mysterious hunter who never showed his face, who split his soul into multiple bodies and cleared floors simultaneously. He was everywhere and nowhere, a legend that defied logic. The Phantom was feared and revered, but above all, he was betrayed. His team—the closest people to him—turned against him in the 99th floor. Blinded by greed and envy, they sealed his real body and destroyed his soul clones one by one. In his final moments, the Phantom swore vengeance—not with rage, but with icy clarity. He had seen through the tower's secrets, understood the true nature of the world, and knew death was only the beginning. And so he reincarnated.Years later, in a small apartment in a decaying city plagued by gates, lives a shut-in named Rael Arden. Crippled, weak, and ignored by society, Rael lives in darkness, gaming and reading about the world that had long since forgotten him. But the Tower hasn't.On his 18th birthday, Rael's memories awaken—no, return. He remembers everything. The tower. The betrayal. The power. The rage. And above all, the System, which reactivates with a welcome message:> [Phantom-Class System Activated.][Welcome back, User: Rael Arden.][Loading Soul Clones: 0/9][Main Quest: Reclaim the Spire.]With his soul-splitting ability restored, Rael begins his climb anew—not from the tower, but from the streets of the real world. As dungeons appear across the globe, he sends his clones into gates, leveling faster than anyone, gaining powers others deem impossible. But this time, he’s not seeking glory. He’s not here to lead. He doesn’t care about guilds, factions, or rankings. He wants one thing: revenge.Unbeknownst to the world, the Abyssal Spire is descending. Tower entities are leaking into the real world, and former teammates—now heroes and rulers—live in ignorance of their sins. But Rael remembers. Every betrayal. Every lie.Yet, amidst the path of blood and retribution, something unexpected begins to form around him.The Women Who Step Into His Shadow:1. Lyra Fenhardt – A fierce A-rank Hunter and current leader of the Eclipse Guild. She once mocked Rael as a worthless shut-in. But after witnessing his clone solo a dungeon her whole team failed to clear, she grows obsessed. She wants to control him… until she realizes he’s the one doing the controlling.2. Selene Vireya – A mysterious girl from the Spire, a Tower-born, who descends in search of the Phantom. She knows his secret, speaks in riddles, and calls him “Master” with tears in her eyes. Her presence sparks ancient tower mechanics that threaten to collapse the fragile balance between dimensions.3. Aeris Caelum – One of his old teammates. The one who didn’t betray him—but couldn’t save him either. Now hailed as a “Saintess” and national hero, she lives with guilt, convinced the Phantom is dead. When she starts dreaming of Rael, realizing who he really is, her world begins to crack. As the world spirals into chaos, gates merging with tower floors, Rael plays a dangerous game. He manipulates factions, puppeteers the media, and silently destroys the foundations of those who wronged him. His soul clones infiltrate all corners of society. His enemies don’t even realize they’ve already lost. But vengeance is a cold blade, and even Rael, the Phantom, begins to question—when surrounded by those who love him, who follow him, who believe in him—is it too late to turn back?Or will he embrace the monster they made him into?---

Chapter 1 – The Shut-In and the System
The world outside Rael Arden’s apartment was alive with sirens again. Somewhere in the distance, another Gate had opened—another ripple of energy tearing into reality, spilling monsters onto city streets. Hunters rushed toward it like moths to a flame, craving gold, glory, or survival. Rael didn’t move from his chair. He sat in the dark, eyes locked on the glowing screen of his monitor. The room around him was a prison of shadows—curtains sealed, air stale, floor scattered with instant noodle cups and dust-covered books. His gaunt frame was slouched, bones visible beneath his oversized hoodie. The world had forgotten him, and he’d returned the favor. "Gate breach in Sector 9. Estimated rank: A. Civilians advised to evacuate," a synthetic voice echoed from his phone’s emergency broadcast. He muted it. What did it matter? The world could burn and no one would knock on his door. They hadn’t for years—not since the accident that ruined his legs, not since his parents died in a gate incident, not since the inheritance ran out and pity faded. He was invisible. “Happy birthday to me,” he muttered dryly, glancing at the date on his monitor: April 9th. Eighteen. Technically an adult. Not that it changed anything. Not that anyone cared. Then the screen flickered. He blinked. No power outage. No glitch. But the monitor dimmed—and then, impossibly, displayed a new window. > [SYSTEM REBOOTING…] [Initializing Phantom-Class Interface…] [Welcome Back, User: Rael Arden.] [Soul Authority: Recognized.] [Main Class: ??? (LOCKED)] [Unique Skill: Soul Fracture – Status: SEALED] [Memory Restoration: 12%… 37%… 66%…] Rael’s breath caught. What… was this? Pain exploded in his skull, sudden and searing. He collapsed from his chair, clutching his head as images flooded in—visions of battles, blood, fire, betrayal. A tower piercing the heavens. Voices he hadn’t heard in lifetimes. Screams. Laughter. The sensation of a sword piercing his chest. And a name. The Phantom. “I… remember,” he gasped, eyes wide. The memories returned like a tidal wave. The Tower. The Spire. The climb. The betrayal on the 99th floor. His team—Aeris. Daemon. Kriel. The ones who smiled, who laughed with him, who stabbed him in the back for power they didn’t understand. And now… he was back. Reincarnated. Alive. Crippled, yes. Broken, perhaps. But the System hadn’t forgotten him. The Spire still whispered his name. > [Skill: Soul Fracture – UNSEALED.] [Cloning Capacity: 1/9 Activated.] [New Mission: Reclaim the Tower. Reforge the Throne. Rewrite Fate.] Rael stood slowly. His legs shook, but not from weakness. From power. > [Would you like to manifest your first clone?] [Y/N] He didn’t hesitate. Yes. The air shimmered in front of him. It twisted, cracked, and from the distortion stepped a figure identical to him—taller, stronger, with perfect posture and emotionless eyes. His clone. His first soul fragment. It knelt. “Orders, Master?” it asked in a cold, mechanical tone. Rael stared at it. Stared at himself—the version of him that had once brought gods to their knees. “Enter the nearest Gate,” Rael whispered. “Clear it. Alone.” The clone vanished in a flicker of shadow, slipping through reality toward the A-rank Gate in Sector 9. Outside, sirens wailed louder. Inside, Rael smiled for the first time in years. The Phantom had returned. And the world didn’t even know it was already too late.
