Chapter 24

"So what you are actually trying to tell is, this entire plot about their sister's disappearance is just a stunt? that their sister, our queen hadn't actually gone missing?" asked Queen Jaina.

"It could be a possibility." said Queen Hope. "Blasphemy, our queen would never agree to something like this, she knows better than these fools." said Queen Malika.

"What if she isn't exactly in a place to speak out her thoughts? this isn't the first time, the Azirel Brothers silenced and made the decision for her?" asked Princess Luna to which all of them soon turn silent, thinking on what he said.

"Come to think of it, it would actually make sense, still we cannot confirm unless.." said Queen Hope looking upon Queen Jaina, who's eyes turn away in frustration as she sighs.

"You need me to continue on the private meeting with him." said Queen Jaina. "It isn't bad as it sounds, Klaus could have stormed into these halls anytime he wishes and grabbed you away from here, yet he didn't, which means he isn't ought for your body, but for your heart." said Queen Malika.

"Somehow that makes it even more disgusting." said Queen Jaina. "You need to do this Jaina, there is no other way, once we find out what he intends, rest will come off remarkably, we just need to play along for now, that is all." said Queen Hope.

"Alright, fine, I will do it, when can he come?" asked Queen Jaina just when the doorbell rings, citing that a visitor has arrived which could be Klaus Azirel.

"Looks like the devil just knocked it's graces on us.. it must be him." said Queen Hope. "Well then, this is where we must leave our sister for now, pray that her task and intent shall be fulfilled." said Queen Hope.

"I like to stay, see what happens." said Princess Luna. "We both know you can't do that Luna, Klaus will sense your presence regardless of whatever you cook up, don't worry, I'll be fine, I've handled demons worse than him." said Queen Jaina.

"Indeed she has." said Queen Malika when another door bell rings, once again citing the arrival of the guest is growing to be late to be welcomed.

Meanwhile, on the outside of the Queen's Estate, the mysterious guest, as suspected is revealed to be Klaus Azirel himself, as suspected.

"Hello? Someone there? Answer me! I know you're in there, I'm only here to talk." said Klaus as he continues ringing the doorbell.

But as his presence continues to remain unwelcome by the Queen's, or so what he thinks, rage pours down on him which almost goes off to making him enraged and landing the door with a devastating punch, just when the door gets answered within a inch from Klaus's fist in which he pauses by the one that answered his door, revealed to be Queen Malika herself.

"Queen Malika." said Klaus while remaining paused as Queen Malika lowers his fist down. "You lower that anger of yours, your grace, Jaina awaits you, inside." said Queen Malika.

"What took you so long?" asked Klaus.

"Convincing her did, Jaina isn't profound of the Azirel Family, or any of the originals.. besides, you saw her on stage, how do you think she would have reacted when you requested to see her." said Queen Malika.

"Delighted, I believe, now move aside, I've wasted enough time as it is." said Klaus who pushes his way into the house, moving straight into their estate until Queen Malika speaks. "Good luck, and one more thing." said Queen Malika to which Klaus pauses and turns.

"What?" asked Klaus as he turns while Queen Malika remains positioned towards him. "I know, some unsettling issues recently has made you doubt the allegiance of your family, especially with a new one joining your ranks." said Queen Malika.

"There is nothing like that, who told you this?" asked Klaus until Queen Malika interrupts.

"No one, but.. should you ever need someone to lean trust on, you can count me in, I've been a faithful protégé to Mikeala, I can be a reliable ally to the Azirel Family again." said Queen Malika.

"Delighted, but there is no need, now, where is she?" asked Klaus. "Follow the blood, you'll find her." said Queen Malika to which Klaus turns and senses the scent of fresh blood which gets caught in the air as Klaus start sprinting away, following it upstairs until he enters close to the entrance to the ballroom where Princess Luna is awaiting outside, playing with a sharp long dagger as Klaus stops before proceeding in.

"What in the name of.." whispered Klaus once he sees a pool of blood is coming out from the ballroom while Princess Luna is awaiting outside, rejecting it's smell and minding her own business.

"You.. what are you doing here? where is she?" asked Klaus. "Inside, two of them are, said they were having fun.. but they didn't need me inside." said Princess Luna.

"And why is that?" asked Klaus to which Princess Luna turns towards Klaus with a stiff gesture. "Human blood aren't my taste, I have something specific to savour from." said Princess Luna as her eyes turn green, granting her vampiric strength once she senses the blood of Klaus as a hunger to behold.

"You're a Langsuir, aren't you? vampires that feed only on vampire blood." said Klaus, realising what she is as he rolls over his sleeves, and sits on his knees towards her as he offers his hand which Princess Luna pleasingly accepts.

"Half Langsuir.. though I am not fond of drinking my own species blood, I do find himself delighted to tasted one, especially from an original." said Princess Luna as she plunges her fangs into his hand who starts drinking while Klaus remains null, not making any struggle or noise as Luna continues savouring it in, and eventually stops, taking her mouth away from his hand and offering it back to him while her eyes turn normal.

"Thank you." said Princess Luna. "You're welcome.. anything else I can help you with?" asked Klaus. "No.. that would be all, though I might share you an information you might find useful." said Princess Luna.

"Go on then." said Klaus. "My sister, Jaina, never fails to admire men who appear to her, bare chested." said Princess Luna. "What?" asked Klaus. "She finds the body of a male quite fascinating, would stare at them for hours, if you know what I mean." said Princess Luna.

"I see, clearly she needs therapy then." said Klaus who barges on the door, regardless of the tips Princess Luna gave, and once he steps in, he finds a disco lighting, decorated ballroom with various humans standing still, almost like they were frozen to be in place while ahead, further below the stage of the ballroom, lies Queen Jaina and Hope, both in their party dresses, as they continue lavishing in the blood of the same human who they drink from, revealed to be a party bouncer. Looking around on many of the humans who are drained of blood, as well as some of the humans compelled to remain still while the Queen continues her feast which let out half the blood that came in from the room.

Klaus finds it rather disgusted, but amazed in a strange type of way, given how the decoration and stature of the place appears to be familiar to one of his old memories as he steps forward. Noticing his steps forward, Hope soon relinquishes from her feast and looks upon him approaching, then cites on Jaina to notice his arrival as well.

"There you are.. we finally meet, welcome." said Queen Jaina. "This place.. why did you set it up this way?" asked Klaus.

"Really? that's the first question you would like to ask?" asked Queen Jaina. "My dear, I would suggest treating our grace with respect, he can break your neck with one inch of a second." said Queen Hope only to get interrupted by Klaus himself.

"Half a second, to be accurate, and no, I do not need respect around people who continue to be blood bags, this is a private meeting where you can be, act, however you want to be, nothing less." said Klaus to which Queen Jaina looks upon Hope who then lands a kiss on her forehead, then at the blood bag as well, in which both of them giggle before Queen Jaina continues to feast in blood while Queen Hope gets up to depart.

"I'll leave you both be, in your private meeting." said Queen Hope as she walks off right before she leans towards Klaus's ear to whisper a secret.

"Careful, your grace, she is in quite the mood today, I would advise protection, if you know what I mean." said Queen Hope before departing, finally leaving Klaus and Queen Jaina to continue their meeting alone, amongst body bags.

While Jaina continues feasting on blood, Klaus takes to observing her in close, remembering a small glance that he has seen her before in a similar environment like this in which Jaina pauses, and looks upon Klaus to comment.

"Don't just stand there, come on.. there is plenty to go." said Jaina. "Flattered, but no, I'm full, now tell, me, what is this place? why does it look familiar, yet in different in some ways?" asked Klaus.

"It's because.. you've been here, your grace, well not here, but this place.. in.. what was that place called? ahh, yes, Neptune's Beard.. the Eclipse, this is where I first laid my eyes on you." said Queen Jaina as Klaus starts to remember glimpses of his long memory, remembering of his dark days where he massacred an entire club full of people that day. "You.. were here?" asked Klaus in shock.

"I was.." said Queen Jaina dropping the body and going off to approach Klaus next up close.

"I have, a long long time ago, above your.." said Queen Jaina before getting interrupted by Klaus.

"Enough, I didn't come to discuss about my.. our history, whatever it was." said Klaus.
