Stage 4

Being a photographer for the past week had been a great pleasure for her. However, she was not quite acceptable by some of the staffs and some other photographers. They thought Blake got into the agency because of Scarlett and not because of herself. Blake decided to ignore their bad words and she knew they had been talking behind her back but the people who had hated her did not even matter to her. She just wanted to focus and enjoy her work along her summer break plus she got the chance to experience being a real photographer. “Blake~” she heard her name being sung and she recognized the voice. It was no other than the known womanizer. “Max, what are you doing here? Aren’t you currently having a photo shoot?” Blake caught the uncomfortable stares from some of the staffs at the set since she would be having a photo shoot too later. And about this flirty model, ever since she started working, Max had been always visiting her regardless of time and place. He just knew where she was. This guy, who was surprisingly in the same age as her, was the only one who considered as close with her in the agency other than Eric and her aunt since she was being visited frequently by the guy. “I miss you, Blake…” Max smiled at Blake seductively. Blake just stared at him sternly. “Cut it out, Max. You’re slacking off again,” Blake was checking her camera before the photo shoot began. Max sat down on the chair and rested his long legs on the table as he folded his arms behind his head, “Well, you caught me but I’m being honest. I really miss you,” Blake rolled her eyes. After a week the guy had been hanging out around her, she knew this guy loved to slack off his work and he always flirted with her saying these and that but Blake knew not to believe a womanizer like Max. Even though he was like that but when he was in front of the camera, he was a different person, very different indeed. “But you’ve to get out after this. I’ve a photo shoot to handle,” Blake said while her eyes fixed on her camera. Max stared at Blake by the edge of his eyes. “You know you’re different from any other people I’ve met. Usual when I said I missed them or sorts, they would start doing things but you weren’t,” Blake turned to look at Max and caught the guy was staring at her. “I’m not as stupid as I look. I’ve my pride,” Max put down his legs and stood up. He walked toward Blake and bent down, trapping Blake on the chair as he put both of his arms on the armrest. “Why don’t you put down your pride and become mine?” Max stared straight into Blake’s eyes. Max realized from the first they met, Blake had this unique beauty and he knew Blake was different from any other people. Unfortunately, those ugly glasses had kept the beauty hidden from everyone. He wanted Blake. Blake had always made him felt strange and he wanted to know further why he was feeling like that because no one had ever made him felt that way. “You’re not supposed to be here, Max,” a deep and manly voice interrupted them. Blake widened her eyes as she recognized the voice too much. Max’s eyes seemed to be frozen as he slowly straightened his arms and turned around only to see his rival was standing in front of him. “Harris…” Harrison was looking straight into Max’s eyes with his icy cold ones. The stare would make anyone quivered in fear but not Max. That fearfully cold stare could not make him ran away like other people did but instead he felt that stare was challenging him, like always but this time, the stare looked extremely cold and fiery, why? Max glanced at Blake who was standing beside him, frozen. Max smirked, “Why can’t I be here?” Max wrapped his arm around Blake’s shoulder and pulled her closer. “I’m here to see my puppy, is that wrong?” Blake abruptly looked Max, taken aback by the shocking claim. Max could see Harrison’s eyes darkened. He smiled secretly. Now, he knew what Harrison’s weakness was. Harrison clicked his tongue as scary aura began surrounded him as he looked gloomier than usual, “Cut the f*****g s**t. You’re being an eyesore. This isn’t the place where you should be,” Max’s smirk faded away as he furrowed his eyebrows in anger that was slowly building in but still controlling his emotion. He could not lose to this cold and arrogant bastard. “What about you then? You shouldn’t be here too. You don’t have any photo shoot today,” Harrison smirked in mocking manner. “Mr. Raymond called me. Neil couldn’t make it so I’m here to replace him,” Blake’s eyes almost popped out from their sockets when she heard that, ‘What?! Harrison is the model today?!’ Max seemed surprised also. “So you better get out from here,” Harrison said with gritted teeth. Max glared at Harrison before he looked down at the still shocked Blake, “Blake, I’ll see you later,” then he pecked Blake’s cheek, doubling Blake’s shock. Blake’s eyes followed Max’s figure that was slowly disappearing with dropped jaws. “If you like his kiss that much, you should run after him instead,” Blake snapped out and looked at Harrison who was looking down at her coldly. Blake blinked rapidly before her face slowly reddened and her cheeks were puffed adorably, “I’m not!” and she did all that unconsciously. Harrison’s eyes widened a bit before his eyes darkened. Harrison gritted his teeth while narrowing his eyes to the side. “Damn it…” Harrison muttered under his breath lowly. Blake was oblivious of it as she huffed and grabbed her camera, “Get ready, Mr. Harrison. The photo shoot is starting now,” Blake constructed. Without saying a word, Harrison went to stand in front of the camera. Harrison was casually dressed since the theme for the photo shoot was summer. He wore a sleeveless black shirt and a pair of short black jeans that were suited with a pair of silver sneakers. His black hair was flipped back and thick eyeliner was put on, emphasizing his cold eyes. Blake felt her heart pounded faster when Harrison looked straight at the lens. His expression was cold and unchangeable. Blake cursed silently when she felt her face began to feel heated. Just because of a single stare, Harrison had made her this miserable. She surely disliked this man right? Blake did not know if she felt this right but Harrison’s eyes were as if always directed toward her like at that moment and eventually she was captured by those captivated orbs. They were so gorgeous that every time without fail, they had attracted her, sucked her in that pulled her into trance. Blake shook her head and her face was flushed in rosy shade, ‘what the heck am I thinking?! Focus, Blake, focus…There’s no way Harrison Lee would direct his eyes toward you,’ Blake scolded herself mentally. As Blake was busy scolding herself, she was not aware of Harrison’s stare that was exactly directed toward her. Those heterochromia orbs were staring at her with silent desire and unspoken feeling. Harrison breathed out slowly and looked away. He ran his fingers through his silky black hair and his eyebrows furrowed. He looked…irritated? “Just get over it already,” Harrison’s low and cold voice caused Blake to gasp in realization and lowered her head. “Sorry…” she mumbled an apology before assuming with her work. As soon as the photo shoot was done, Harrison immediately left to the dressing room. Blake slumped her shoulders, ‘did I disappoint him?’ Blake was in the verge of tears when she thought that she was not good enough to photo shooting Harrison. Blake sighed in despair, “Well, I guess I’m too inexperience,” Blake dropped her body on the chair. She was mad, mad to herself. Scarlett was resting at home since she was free until the next day. She was currently lazing on the couch, looking through her personal DSLR. Suddenly, her stomach growled. She looked at her stomach sternly before she stood up and stretched her body. “Time for lunch!” Scarlett exclaimed to herself and walked to the kitchen. “I should make some pasta then,” Scarlett muttered to herself as she started to prepare the ingredients for her lunch. Scarlett was reaching for the tube of spaghetti sauce in the top cabinet before she felt she was lifted from the ground and a pair of strong arms wrapped around her hips. She gasped in surprise and looked down only to see Eric was grinning at her, “Eric, how did you get in?!” “Spare keys,” Eric answered, still having Scarlett wrapped in his arms. “Put me down, Eric,” Scarlett said strictly. Eric shook his head, “Not until you give me a kiss,” Eric carried Scarlett to the side and settled her on the worktop. He stood between Scarlett’s legs and put both of his arms on both sides of Scarlett’s body, trapping Scarlett to prevent her from running away as he leaned forward. Scarlett rolled her eyes, “Are you what? Five years old?” Eric just grinned. Scarlett rolled her eyes once again before she leaned up and pecked Eric’s lips, “Done, now let me go,” Scarlett pushed Eric away but he did not budge. “I don’t want a peck…I want a KISS,” Eric emphasized the word. Scarlett frowned. “What are you—” before she could form a full sentence, Eric had stolen her breath away. Scarlett squeezed shut her eyes in reflex. A moan slipped out from their unbroken connection as Eric sucked Scarlett’s bottom lip hardly enough to make it went swollen. Scarlett parted opened her mouth slight when she felt Eric licked her lower lip and the tip of his tongue brushed against her teeth before the moist organ slipped into her mouth and explored her wet cavern almost possessively. Scarlett fisted on Eric’s shirt and pounded onto his chest weakly, silently telling him to stop. Eric caught the sign and nibbled her lips lastly before he pulled away; a string of saliva connected their lips in the process. Scarlett wiped her lips with her sleeve as she glared at Eric with flushed cheeks. Eric seemed to be in awestruck at the new expression of the always calm Scarlett moreover when he was the reason for Scarlett’s current state. Scarlett pushed Eric away and jumped down from the worktop, “What’s wrong with you? Being aggressive out of sudden,” Scarlett nagged. Eric’s lips curved into a perfect smirk as he sat down on the worktop, staring at Scarlett. “Well, you’re too tempting for me to handle,” Scarlett gave Eric a sidelong glance, silently warning him. Eric just chuckled. Scarlett started cooking her lunch, completely ignoring Eric. Eric continued staring at Scarlett’s concentrated faced only to feel himself getting a hard on. Scarlett’s red hair reflected her fair skin and the exposed slender neck, did not make things went better. “You know, you’re giving me a hard on,” Eric’s words caused Scarlett to cough as she was tasting the gravy. “W-What?” Scarlett was still coughing slightly as she turned to look at Eric. Eric jumped off the worktop and slowly moved his feet toward Scarlett, “I said you’re giving me a hard on,” Eric took the ladle from Scarlett’s hand and put it near the stove. Scarlett gulped down her saliva and looked away as she put her palm on Eric’s chest, preventing him from stepping closer, “I-I don’t want to shag,” but Scarlett knew even though she tried to stop Eric, she could not resist the brunette. The moment Eric held her wrist and pulled her closer to his body until she could feel the soothing warmth, she lost it all. “Excuse me, where can I find Harrison Lee?” Blake suddenly asked two of the staffs who were passing by. The one of staffs looked at Blake up and down. “Who are you? I never seen you here before,” the staff said coldly. “I’m new here,” Blake showed the staff her ID card. The staff just stared at it. The other staff just eyed her. “Why do you want to see him?” Blake looked at the female staff. Why was she this questionable? It was not like Harrison was her boyfriend or sort to ask so many questions. Blake frowned. “I’ve something to say to him,” the female staff smirked. “Forget it, girl. There’s no way Harris would want to see you,” Blake’s frown deepened. She would just want to say to the girl to tell where the f**k Harrison Lee was and she did not care if Harrison did not want to see her. She just wanted to apologize for her carelessness. The girl wrapped her arms around her chest, “An ugly bum like you, there’s no way he’s going to see you or even want to look at you,” Blake was dumbfounded. What the—did she just say she was ugly? “What the hell is going on here?” Blake and both of the girls gasped. They turned toward the direction of the voice and the two girls’ eyes widened but not Blake. She just stared at Harrison who leaning against the doorframe of a room. He had his hands stuck into the pockets of his pants as he fixed his eyes on Blake who looked like a puppy in guilt. “H-Harris,” the girls stuttered. “You guys are noisy,” Harrison said with annoyance was evident in his voice. “You…” Harrison looked at Blake expressionlessly, “Come here…” Blake slowly walked to Harrison’s side. Harrison shifted his eyes toward the girls, “Do you think you’re pretty enough to say to other people that they are ugly? You should think before you talk because to me, you aren’t that pretty at all,” then he pulled Blake with him into the room. Blake was surprised that Harrison was taking her side and she stared at Harrison in disbelief. Harrison let go of Blake’s wrist and turned to look at her, his eyes showed nothing except coldness. Blake kept fidgeting and played with her thumbs. “Are you being here just to be all silent or what?” Blake flinched at the words. “I-I…just wanted to apologize for this morning…” Harrison’s eyes remained on Blake. “For what?” “You were annoyed earlier and I knew you were not satisfied with my work since I’m still lack of experience and I’m very sorry that I can’t give you the satisfaction you seek for,” Harrison’s eyes widened as his expression changed. From cold to annoyed. “How can you be so dumb?” Blake started to panic. “I-I didn’t mean to. I-I’m sorry,” Harrison gritted his teeth and ran his fingers through his hair. “Geez, you’re so annoying,” Harrison’s words caused Blake’s heart to twist hurtfully. Harrison hated her.
