It wasn't too long when Lia read the text that was inviting her and Tiff to go out tonight. She didn't find it odd that Ben invited her to his bachelor party and she knew because it was mainly because she was his best friend. In all actuality, she was glad that she could be there for him and according to Tiff, this may be her moment to say something to Ben.
Lia wasn't sure if she had the courage to do it but she still needed to get her feelings off her chest. Especially when the wedding was in less than two weeks. She felt confident that Ben wouldn't let her down too hard as it wasn't in his nature to be cruel. If all went well and reciprocated...well would she be able to live with herself if she was going to be considered the homewrecker? She would find out when she was able to be alone with him.
"Not bad. You don't look that desperate." Tiff commented to her and Lia looked at her outfit in the mirror. She was wearing a form fitting black bodycon dress that stuck to her like it was another skin. Underneath, she wore sheer dark tights and wedge booties."What is that supposed to mean?" She asked getting ready to put fake lashes on. "My nice way of saying you look good, plus you are single and ready to mingle...unless you plan on doing the hokey pokey with another tall handsome fellow named Jonny, then you totally have that do-me look going on." Tiff said. She was donning almost the same outfit as her except she was wearing a tight bodycon skirt with a band tee crop and leather jacket over.
Lia was most definitely not planning on seeing Jonny and she wasn't sure why her friend insisted that there was something going on between the two of them. The other night was a mistake and they both knew it. Even if it was a good screw- oh she'd be lying if she said she didn't want to have s*x again but how was she supposed to confess to Ben when she was screwing his brother. The scandal that would follow. As if stealing another girl's fiance wasn't scandal enough.
The girls had Mrs. Grange drop them off at the local bar to eat and pregame before they were heading to the seedy strip joint that sat at the end of town. They got there first and found Jonny at the bar already of course. He was chit chatting away with a dark haired female and whatever he said made her laugh as she touched his arm. Tiff and Lia decided to not t**t swat him and moved to the other end of the bar to have a mixed drink with some greasy bar food.
They both ordered a cocktail and Lia looked to her phone to see if maybe Ben texted her but still no side of the soon to be groom. Last she checked, Jonny was planning the party and he seemed to be relaxed and not too worried. Wear protection, she texted to Jonny and watched him reached down to peek at his phone. He smirked and looked straight at her as he was talking. He had that mischievous look in his eyes. He said something to the girl before he left her and started walking to the pair. "So, when is the groom coming?" She asked him as soon as he came over.
He glanced at his phone again and shook his head before taking a sip of his beer. "Said something about Felicity. Waiting. I don't know." He took a piece of their french fry and ate it. "You guys look nice." He commented. Tiff winked at him and made googly eyebrows towards Lia. He smiled and threw a fry at her.
They were waiting for another thirty minutes and some of the other party goers were starting to show up and still no Ben. They all took a shot and not long after Ben showed up be he didn't look too happy. And Lia could see why, a pissed off Felicity was walking right behind him. "Hey!" She said to him and gave him a hug. He looked good in a button up and jeans and even smelled nice. She said a hello to the bride-to-be and then it was a sort of c**k block that they found that she was tagging along.
Apparently she threw a big fit about something and just so that he could go out tonight...she was tagging a long. The more that Lia had thought about her, the less she was liking her and she had to believe that it was not because she was marrying the person that she loves. Felicity seems to like to be in control of things and with Ben's party, she wanted to be the center of attention.
"Well so much for the boobies." Tiff said as the change of plan took them to another bar that was right out of town instead of the exotic bar that they were going to start off. Still, they had to make the most out of it, especially if this may be happening only once for Ben. As soon as they got there, the party livened by ten as they were the only real young people that were in attendance. The rest of the people were drunken sea captains that made a living off of the marina.
They tried to have as much fun as they could with the bride giving everyone the death stare and she was still not happy. "I have a theory." Tiff breathed onto Lia, wobbling in her steps. "Shoot." Lia said as she sipped from her jack and coke. "I really think, she's pregnant. Hey maybe it's a shotgun wedding." Lia laughed out loud and finished what she had left. "I don't think Ben is that stupid. Plus, he always said that he wanted to finish school first...but I can see what you're getting at. She doesn't drink me does she?" The two girls had offered alcohol to Felicity who kindly denied but that didn't stop her from sitting at a table. In all honesty, Ben had to be there with her so he wasn't around too often. "Let's hope you get some liquid courage then?" Tiff asked and they both ordered another round.
Jonny sidled right up to them and asked for what they were having. He paid for the three of their shots and had to cringe from it. What was it with girls and taking shots of vodka or tequila. "I feel bad." he voiced as he looked over to Ben who was sipping a beer and eating something with his fiancee. They all agreed but Tiff said, "Well he's marrying her."
"Well, there's a slightly drunken fellow I'm gonna go dance with." Tiff said as she went over to the dance floor where all the sweat soaked bodies where doing some form of dancing. "How are you doing?" Jonny asked her as she watched Tiff grind on possibly the best man. "Good, you?" She asked and glanced at him quickly. He nodded his head. "Wanna dance?"
Lia thought better of it but she glanced over to Tiff who was just about walking away from whoever was DJ-ing. She stared at her friend suspiciously as some upbeat song was playing. And it happened to be a song that she enjoyed getting really down with in the bar. "I swear, it's like you're both conspiring against me. C'mon, but just don't feel me up." She grabbed his hand and they made their way to the dance floor. At first Jonny and her were dancing face to face and she really tried to bring the floor with her home. The crowd woo'ed as she got low and came back up.
Jonny smiled as he pulled off a very lame mood but the crowd still rooted for him. They did a mini dance battle that lasted for less than a minute before she laughed and he grabbed her hand. It wasn't too long before she was closer to him and they may still have been facing each other but the way that they were moving, it was almost like she was riding his leg.
Before she even realized, she then danced with her back to him and she ground her bottom on his front side. With his superior height, she was right where his manhood was. Just to be clever and teasing, she pushed her bottom harder against him almost as if she was going to crush him to himself. As if in challenge he pushed into her. "Woah." She laughed and turned back around.
He smiled at her and she could only laugh at their antics. In some way, it made her think back to the night that they had s*x. The more that she had him close to her, his smell, whatever cologne he was wearing was permeating his senses. She had to admit that she wanted him. If just for tonight. He looked at her and he could see what she wanted. But not here, not in this dingy bar, he had more respect for her than that. He kissed her forehead and then moved away from her to get another drink from the bar and pulled her along.
The bartender asked what he wanted and he just asked for two waters for the both of them. "If you want to do this, I will do it later but not right now." He whispered into her ear. She looked into her eyes and hoped that she'd still have the courage to face him later.
It was about one in the morning before they all had their fill and decided to head home. "Are you okay to drive?" Lia asked Felicity who had a somewhat drunk Ben on her shoulder. "Yes, I didn't drink." She told her. "Hey...how are you getting home?" Ben slurred his words as he looked at his brother and Lia. "We'll take a taxi from here, we'll be fine." Jonny told him. "No come, we take you." He looked to his fiancee.
Jonny declined and told the couple to go to the hotel safely. They called a cab and the three of them were on their way home. Jonny held onto Lia's hand in the darkness, reassuring him if she still wanted to have s*x. "Well, you kids have fun." Tiff said as she waved the couple out of the car and was not too far for the driver to take her to the Grange's.
