Lia felt the sarcasm and inappropriate comments in her head as if Tiff was talking to her through telepathy. It didn't take long for her to see Ben. He was the same brown haired, five foot eleven, easy going smile, and perfect faced man she saw years ago. He smiled at her brightly and went in for a hug after he gave his brother some acknowledgement. It wasn't until he turned to introduce his fiancée, Felicity, that she noticed there was someone else accompanying Ben. Felicity gave a gorgeous mysterious smile to Lia and instead of shaking her hand, moved in for a quick hand over shoulder and other hand under armpit hug. It was then she felt the soft roundness of the woman's well endowed chest on her almost boy chest. She even smelled good, some exotic yet charming scent radiated off of her as she pulled away. The sweet words of, "Nice to meet you." Was said as she moved back to say hello to Tiff. Lia felt like Tiff either had some plastic Barbie comments channeling into her brain or she was getting the same angel-fell-from-heaven-did-it-hurt reaction as Lia just did. She had to admit that Felicity was beautiful with her strawberry blonde curls. Her make up was perfect and in the right places and shades. Her teeth could blind someone from how white it was. She could see people getting lost in the girl's chocolate almost too innocent brown eyes. She could see how she had entranced Ben, the love of her life. They were seated at a table and Tiff pinched Lia in the arm as she sat across from the couple and in between Tiff and Jonny. They had a nice little chat for an hour as to what everyone was doing and Lia had to admit that she was impressed that Jonny had become some semi famous hockey player. Ben was still interning for his now Fiancee's father as his personal assistant. The Kellers were doing great, their father had retired less than three years ago and uses Maine as home whilst taking Mrs. Keller traveling. As for Lia she was still studying in school, having dropped too many classes and changing her mind that she felt she should drop out entirely. Her parents were still hardworking people even though they claimed to have retired a year ago. Eventually if not soon she'll figure out what to do when she goes back to school. During dinner Lia found out that Felicity didn't work too hard neither did she seriously attend a college. As a matter of fact, she learned that her father had paid for some personal school in which she got through fairly quickly and earned her a BA in something that Lia stopped listening to. She stayed home more often while daddy kept the money flowing in. Lia had decided that her breasts were real, unfortunately, because how else did they look so natural and yet feel like the softest melon ever. Only silicone would be more firm unless she had seen a very very professional surgeon. At the end of the night, her supposed designated driver was now intoxicated, and she was the one driving the pair home. According to Tiff the dinner was a 'snooze fest' and that was her explanation as to ordering too many cocktails and sneaking shots at the bar. She was fast asleep in the backseat whereas she had unseeingly offered Jonny a ride home. He got a ride to the bar thinking that his brother was coming to stay at their parent's home. Instead, Ben was sharing a hotel room with his soon-to-be wife. The drive was somewhat quiet with the radio playing in the background and the two of them stared at the road ahead of them. Lia enjoyed the silence just fine, until Jonny thought it was an unbearable silence that he could not take and started small talk with her. "So...how is your love life? Or do you even have one considering that my brother ruined you for life?" He asked leaning to the right of the passenger side, stretching his long legs. Lia glanced at him and sighed. "I do have a love life thank you very much. And its great. Your brother didn't ruin me. Why do you have to be so aggravating and it hasn't even been a full day." He laughed and said "Says the girl who was throwing daggers at my future sister-in-law all night." Lia had to stop herself from blushing. It may have been true that she was eyeing Felicity, but it was more of a studying look. She was trying to be discreet and it was working, unless someone watched her very closely. "I was not mugging, or rather I was trying to figure her out." That part was true but she was also still trying to figure out if the girl's breasts were real. They had to be and it wasn't like she was trying to hide them. She knew she had nice cleavage and she flaunted her twins. "So what do you think of Felicity? I don't know if she is a stranger to you as she is to me." And that was taking into consideration that Ben and her were pretty good at staying in touch. She only figured that the lack of communication had to do with his job when he last described it to her. "Well...I mean I guess she is cool. She is marrying Ben anyway and you know that kid is not the type to settle down this early. Heck he's only twenty four, same as you." Jonny commented. She thought that was a little odd too that he was marrying Felicity. Lia had only heard of the name oh-so-often and she had only met her briefly once. Lia could only exasperate when she replied with a half mocking chuckle. "You're one to talk. Your track record with women weren't exactly settle down look for the one. You bounced through women more quickly than I can drop my classes." Jonny made a mock sound of laughter in response to her comment. It seemed to her that the conversation was going to end there and she was fine with that. He murmured something that she didn't catch and it didn't seem like he was going to reiterate what he just said so she was going to leave it all alone. They made it to their block in less than twenty minutes and she pulled into the driveway and Jonny got out of the vehicle. He came to her side and she rolled down the window. "I guess you're not coming inside to say hi to my parents?" He asked and she shook her head pointing her thumb over to her drunken friend. "I need to take the alcoholic home." She joked and he pulled in through the window to give her a kiss on her cheek as a sign of goodbye. "I'll see you tomorrow at the Bridal Shower then?" He asked her. She nodded to him and watched him acknowledge before she put the car into reverse. It was a late Bridal Shower and she figured they were throwing the party so that everyone could meet the bride and her family. She put the car into drive and drove down the next few houses to her parents. As soon as she put the car into park in the garage, Tiff popped up suddenly as she saw her in her rear-view mirror. "Holy shi-" She breathed and put a hand to her chest. "He's totally in love with you." Tiff stated in half drunken stupor. Lia turned to look at her. "What? Who?" She asked confused and wondered if it was the alcohol that was talking. Tiff burped and touched her temple. "Big brother Jonny." She replied followed with a hiccup. She shook her head and rolled her eyes as they both started to get out of her parents vehicle. "And you think that why?" Tiff got out of the backseat rubbing her cheek which not had the slight imprint of the seat belt. "Well for starters, the way he looks at you, the duration he looks at you and because I was watching him, watch you, watch Felicity." "That's not creepy at all. And plus, he always annoyed the hell out of me when we were kids. He was a bully while I tutored the both of them." She tried to explain to her friend. "Plus, we haven't seen each other in six years. I'm sure the teenage me is slightly different than the adult Lia and he's trying to piece the little girl into the big girl." Tiff only nodded her head in mockery. "Ok. So I'm guessing you didn't hear what he said. I was awake, a little carsick and drunk, but awake." Lia stopped a few inches away from the garage door that led to her parent's kitchen. "What did he say?" Her friend stuck her tongue out and pushed past her into the kitchen. "Well, since you didn't hear what he said, you don't deserve to." With that she rushed into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water and chugged it down. She was tempted to bother her friend into telling her what Jonny had said but she thought better of it. If she kept nudging, she might not be able to sleep tonight and seeing that the something was in the noon, she didn't want to wake up late. Plus, she still had to process that her best childhood friend was getting married and she still wasn't sure how she wanted to crash it.
