Forbidden Love

Rayna didn’t know why her sister Sofia was screaming, but when she woke up that morning her sister was screaming at the top of her lungs. “RAYNA!!”, Sofia screamed, “You’re going to be late for breakfast.” As Rayna pulled back her blanket and sat up, she looked over at her alarm clock. The time read 9:45am. Rayna groaned, wanting to pull the blankets back up and go back to sleep. When she got downstairs her sister looked up at her, “ well it’s about time you get out of bed.” Said Sofia. “Well sorry some of us like to sleep in.” Rayna replied while marking her plate. When she sat down at the table her mother looked over at her. “Any plans for today Rayna?” Her mother asked. “I don’t know yet, I have to see if Dakota can hang out.” Rayna said as she started eating. “I heard that Brodie was gonna be at the mall today.” Sofia said. Rayna looked over at her sister and shot her a dirty look. “I thought I told you two to stay away from that family? They are nothing but trouble.” Said Rayna’s father. “You did.” Rayna replied quietly while looking down at the table. “ then make sure you Do as I tell you” said her father.
