Soon I witnessed the disappointment in his face. His joyful mood was replaced by misery. He was about to pull his hand back. I decided not to hurt his feelings, if he gad any.
“Yes.....I will” my voice was barely audible. I bit my lower lip, as I was trying my best to avoid my tears. My heart started to race faster. I wasn’t ready for it. I don’t want all these to happen.
His lips curved into a smirk as he perceived my words. He took the ring out of the box and put it on my finger.
Promptly, I heard sounds of cheers and whistle. Jack kept staring at me. His face expressed the amusement he got from my words.
