“Chelly’s POV”
Why was he staring at me like this? Did he know about me and Ace? What if he knew? Will he hurt me?
“Why are you looking at me like that?” Jack came closer and sat beside me.
“Chelly...are you still afraid of me? You promised me, that you will give me a chance to prove myself. Stop doing that Chelly. It really bothers me,” his voice was filled with grief. I looked directly into his eyes. His dark brown eyes were dull.
“It’s not like that, Jack. I was missing Eric’s dad, David. He usually brings me sunflowers. He also addresses me as his....sunflower,” I lowered my gaze and kept looking at my lap.
“Ohh! I am sorry, I didn’t know that!” He held my face in his hands and landed a kiss on my forehead. I kept staring at him.
