Alvin's POV
I knew it was Rogue who sent them, I tried not to interfere as that was what they wanted, to kill the detective. I turned to leave but I couldn't, it felt like something kept pulling me back, my legs were so heavy that I couldn't move them. I had never felt that way.
I moved closer to Fred, "Let her down", I ordered.
Fred looked at me and laughed, "She is mine, I won't stop until I have a taste of her", he growled.
I couldn't figure out why they all wanted to feast on her, but I felt she might be the chosen one, her blood might be different from other humans but that was no reason to kill her.
