Chapter Four Alvin's POV I walked out of Jed's house, into the woods and on top of the mountain. Jed seemed like a father to me, he raised me since I was born, Jed was a half werewolf and half vampire as I was a double tailed werewolf. I walked to the woods and sat on a log, I rested my head on the back of a big tree and shut my eyes, different thoughts ran through my head, I wished I could get a chance to see my mum again, I wanted to live a normal life with people but I had to live in the woods with animals. A hand ran through my hair, I opened my eyes and a girl stood right in my front, she had a moonlight black hair and they plunged upon her shoulder, she had a burnished complexion and a rapture blue eyes, she had a pair of arched eyebrows which settled right above her button nose. "Do you have a death wish?", I flared at her, everyone was afraid of me and no one comes to the mountain, they claimed a giant wolf was living on the mountain and it kills everyone who passes by. She smiled and sat beside me, "Are you the giant wolf?", she asked "What!", I exclaimed, she seemed so bold and it was the first time I would see someone who isn't scared of me, "I'm not a wolf", I replied and smirked. She smiled again and ran her hand through my hair, she combed it with her fingers, it felt soothing, Jed does that whenever I was sad, "I do this to my dog whenever he his sad", she said. I pulled back, "I'm not a dog", I responded briskly. "I know you aren't, you are a wolf", she said and laughed, "The giant wolf", she added. "I'm not a wolf either", I replied. She furrowed, "Who are you?", she asked. I didn't know if it was right to tell her but something kept telling me to, "A werewolf", I replied. "Wow!", she exclaimed, her eyes widened, I was expecting her to scream and run but she didn't, she ran her hand through my hair again, "You don't eat humans, do you?", she asked I smiled, "I..." "Oh!, you just smiled", she said, "You should smile always, it suits you", she added. "Hey!, hey!", I heard someone call right from my daydream, I cranked my eyes open and looked up and it was Jed, "You've not gotten over her?", he asked "I will find her Jed, something keeps telling me that I will find her", I replied. I had been on the search for Livia since a thousand year, I never got to meet me after six lifes, I was told she would be reincarnated seven times and if I don't meet her after the seventh time, she will never be reincarnated again. "This is the seventh life Alvin, you've tried your best", Jed said "I can feel her Jed, I'm not going to give up now", I mumbled and raised up my hand, "This mark hasn't glowed since a thousand year ago but it did today", I added The mark on my wrist was the mark I shared with Livia and the mark would be on her hand if I find her, I must find her. "I hope you find her", he said and I smiled "Alvin, did you find Hugo?", my grandfather, Joe asked as he walked in "No I didn't", I replied, I could have found Hugo who posed as a threat to the Green City but I bumped into the detectives, I knew Hugo would have left a clue on the crime scene, he was the one who committed both murder. "You need to find him as soon as possible", Joe said and walked up to his seat, his black walking stick wouldn't stop making an annoying sound as he walked. Hugo was a werewolf and he once lived in the Green City until he committed a treason and fled from the city, we were on the search for him and I was appointed to that as a part of the punishment which I had been under for a thousand year. "How long do I have to do this grandpa?", I asked "As long as the people up there wants, I warned you against being with that human girl but you refused", he replied briskly and set back to what he was doing. Livia was taken away from me and I was on a punishment for going against the law, "But grandpa, you can just talk to them, I'm tired of going after those pathetic werewolves, you can do that please?", I pleaded "Do you want me to tell them to return you to the mountain house?", he asked "No, no, I will do as you say", I replied as fast as I could, being in the mountain house was something I wouldn't wish for any werewolf, I was on the lock for a thousand year. "Alvin, I was told you saved a human today, is that right?", Rodge asked, he was right there, listening all along but no one could see him, he is invisible and could become visible when he wants "Uhmm... it .. it isn't what you think, I heard her shouting for help and when I got there, some werewolves were trying to wipe out her whole family", I explained, I had to help her, although I was the type that minds my business but her loud scream kept ringing in my head, it was after that I found out that she was the detective from the crime scene. "We aren't humans remember, we shouldn't have any relationship with them and we can't help them, you could have minded your business", he said "Maybe not", I replied and turned to leave to avoid further arguments "Alvin", Rodge called, I turned back to look at him but he was already invisible "Yeah?", I answered He became visible again, "You will have to kill her", he said. I knew arguing with Rodge wasn't going to be necessary, I nodded and walked out, all I had to do was find the girl and wipe her memory.
