Emma's POV
When Jordy and Austin bring me home, they say their mom will be home very soon and there is no need for me to go to the hospital to see their mom.
Today is the night of a family celebration - to celebrate Jordy's mom coming home. I give myself the once over the mirror.
Now I wear a soft, chemise of soft blue and gold, with a matching gold chain belt from which a good-sized ruby hung at the end. I put jeweled bobs on my ears, and a fine net veil on my head, hold in place by a gold flowered circlet.
I smile primly. I'm happy with the way I look.
“You’re beautiful,” Jordy says.
“I am not,” I protest, blushing.
Jordy takes my chin in his fingers, saying firmly, "Yes, you are. And Austin sees that too. I think we will be a very good match for you.”
