A few days later...
The past few days went by in a blur. All I have been doing was sleeping, crying, avoiding the series of emails from James and his calls and, trying to get a job which I was so unlucky with. Despite my qualification, no company, agency or little establishment wanted to have anything to do with me. It was even as if as the days went by, my getting a job opportunity kept deteriorating. It was suddenly, but one thing that kept me pushing was the fact that, since I haven't heard from Marcus, my moments of grace would soon come to an end with him. And, he would be fishing me out soon.
