Percy's POV
Artemis and I was having a date on the strawberry fields in Camp Half Blood. We chose a secret place, so that no one can disturb us. A picnic blue blanket laid on the middle of the field. Surrounding us was strawberry bushes and the sun shined down from the above.
Artemis was sleeping on my laps while I was playing with her hair. I had come to notice she has a strike of grey hair on her auburn hair. Though both the colour looked the same, but I can still see it easily. I also had one too. It started turning after I took the sky for her. It would probably the effect.
Artemis stirred a bit and I looked down at her smiling. She looked so cute when she's asleep. The view in front of me also made me feel so relax. I wondered can this peaceful view last for long?
The army of Gaia was growing day by days. We haven't even got any attacking plan. So far, Camp Half Blood haven't been attacked by monsters. That's a good sign. Speaking of demigods. The time when I was in Camp Jupiter was already tough for me. Guiding and commanding 500 kids is not easy. Now that number has now increased to nearly 1000. I was actually leading an army. The weight was just to much for me to handle. I just don't know to to lead them to win this time. I didn't even lead the demigods to victory in the Second Titans war. It was Leo. How can I lead them to victory this time. Many thoughts just pacing in my head made me want to scream out.
"Percy, are you ok?" Artemis suddenly asked, startled me.
I looked down at her beautiful yet concerned eyes. "I...uh" I didn't know what to tell her. I totally lost. I had know clue what I was doing.
Artemis sat up and laid a hand on my shoulder. "Hey, it's ok" she comforted me. "You can tell me. We will figure it out together."
I shook my head and laid flat on my stomach, with my eyes resting on my forearms.
"I don't know Arty" I told her. "I'm lost, confused. I don't know what to do in this war. I don't know how to lead them. I scared that I'll bring them to their deaths. I don't want it to happen. But I'm totally lost. Gaia and the Giants are to strong for me. Too many people expected on me. But the weight is just too much. I can't handle it."
I screamed out at that point. I didn't know what to do now or next. Artemis forced me to lay on my back and climbed on me.
She cuddled my face with her hands and stared down into my eyes.
"Don't you ever say that again Perseus" she said. "You're not lost. Because when you're, I'll always be there to guide you out. You were born to be a leader Percy. Everyone believes in you, I believe in you. You will lead us to victory. I love you, and I always there for you. We have been through so much. Even near the doors of deaths. As long as we are together remember? We will pass everything."
My eyes looked away from her. "But-"
"No but" she said. "Everyone is here to help. They brought you to become their leader because they have their faith on you. They will sacrifice their lives for you if needed. So quit worrying and be happy, because you have friends and me to pull you up from the mud of depression. I will be there to help you."
"Yeah" I sighed. "You're right."
Artemis chucked as she moved her head closer to me. "Now stop worrying and kiss me already. We haven't got any proper kiss since I found out you. My lips are cold without your touch. Also it's my gift to cheer you up."
I grinned at her. "Arty, you're the best" and pulled her head down to my lips.
Our lips moved in sync. I could feel she was smiling between the kiss. I nippled her lips and she knew what to do. My tongue found the way inside her mouth and started exploding it. Our tongues wrestled against each other. My arms were around her waist as her around my neck. After awhile of making out. We pulled away, but our forehead still touched and breathing heavily.
"I missed your lips." I told her.
She grinned at me. "I missed yours too Percy. You're still a great kisser as always."
"Know what? They're made just for you beautiful." I teased her.
"Stop flattering me Percy." She hit my chest playfully while blushing. I just laughed at that. Now matter what situation I was in. As long as I have her, nothing is impossible for me. She laid her head my chest and sighed.
"I love you Perce."
I put my arms around her back and pulled her closer while enjoying her fresh forest scent from her hair.
"I know, I know" and with that, we both fell into the realm of Morpheus.
