If it was left to me, I would had taken Ronald out in a more gruesome way. I was certain Damien would agree. But I was an Alpha, and I had a reputation to maintain. Also, I didn't want my mate to think I was barbaric. Anyway, I did ensure that I tortured him enough when he was here.
I took Valerie to bed, and she fell asleep in an instant. Since we found out she was pregnant, apart from the fact that she now ate like a bull, she slept like a baby too. The moment her body touched any relaxing surface, she would drift off to sleep.
I wrapped one hand around her, as I snuggled closer. Her soft snores filled the room, and I could not help the smile that appeared on my face. It didn't take too long before I too was lulled to sleep.
