The cool wind blew past me, as I ran through the forest, my paws thudding the ground. I could not remember the last time I went on a run like this, and it almost felt like I shifted for the first time. It felt amazing, too good to be true. What made it more amazing was the fact that I had my mate here with me, and I could feel all the love he had for me. The goddess didn't hate me after all.
I could hear my mate's paws behind me. He was close, but he was not catching me here. But I knew that he was the one that slowed down on purpose, giving me more time to run.
