Niklaus' POV
Valerie and I got back to the pack in the evening, and I decided to take her shopping before returning to the pack house. It was night already when we got home, and she went straight to bed.
Beta Jamie told me about some complaints from some of my pack members in the western side, so I decided to check on them. I went to my office, going through the files and documents when I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in." I said without looking up from what I was doing, and the door opened slowly and a female figure slipped in. Not Valerie or Carrie whom I was used to seeing in my office, but Sofia.
She gave me a nervous smile, before she walked over. "I was just passing by and I saw the lights on. I figured you were still awake, so I decided to check on you. Do you need any help?"
