The drive back

The drive back to the compound felt slow to Ria she had the truck loaded with people some she had met some she hadn’t but they was all looking at her in anticipation of what to expect.

She was relieved to enter the compound .

She jumped off the bus where Gordon took charge and gave the welcome speech he always did .

Eric roared through the gate on his Harley somehow she knew it would be a Harley .

He gave her a glance as he got off and walked to join his people .

The doc came out she was a tall thin blonde woman quite attractive but Ria hated her and she hated Ria but they needed each other to survive so had a weird understanding but still the resentment was obvious to anyone ,as she approached the group Ria couldn’t help but comment “ here she comes looking for her next victim “ she glared at Ria then calmly introduced herself Ria whispered to Bill “ she been through all the men here every time there new people she comes out to try her luck you and yours better watch yourselves “ she briefly looked at Eric who had overheard the comments and she knew it . “ your such a b***h “ the doc muttered as she walked pass Ria.

“ absolutely “ Ria snapped back .

Ria decided now was the time to head back before she thumped the doc plus she could have a shower and grab some food before she did her rounds she liked to walk the wall twice a day just to make sure all was good .She said good bye to Bill off she strolled .

She purposely didn’t look at Eric .

Tyler was grinning at Eric as he watched Ria go.

“ What ?” Eric snapped when he saw him watching him.

“ I can see she as horrible as you said she was “ he smirked .

Eric just muttered to himself and turned his back .

Jill was watching him watch Ria she knew what it meant even if he didn’t she so wished he looked at her like that .

The people all got housed only person left was Eric Jill said he could share with her but he knew that wouldn’t work he liked his own space plus she would expect more from him than he wanted to give to her .

He loitered with Bill and Gordon then once Gordon was happy he turned to Eric “ let’s sort you I was thinking maybe we could house you for now in Rias spare flat and you can use the garage for your bike I think given what Bill tells me your talents could be used supporting Ria we need someone to take on her roll incase anything was to happen to her we had always discussed it so now is the perfect opportunity.”

Eric looked flustered “ is that ok “ Bill asked concerned by Erics expression .

“ yeah yeah “ Eric responded .

He followed Gordon across the compound with bill his head was saying s**t s**t s**t .

Now this is getting complicated .
