RIO The bell above the door of LuLu’s Diner chimed as Teddy pushed it open, holding it for me to go first. A few regulars nursed coffee at the bar, looking up long enough to give Teddy a welcome nod. The sound of the clatter of plates and the faint smell of grilled onions filled the air, bringing a smile to my face. This place was becoming my favourite place to eat, and I enjoyed it more than pretentious, starred restaurants back home. Teddy straightened up as he led us to the furthest booth in the corner. I followed closely, folding my arms, still thinking of the lingering tension I had been carrying since we left the gym. I glanced around, thankful the place wasn’t crowded.
