RIO The living room was quiet, except for the soft hum of the air conditioner, which was all that was heard for what seemed like a lifetime in my mind. Wolf sat at one end of the mocha leather sofa, there was a seriousness etched in his facial features, his body was coiled tightly. Whatever he needed to share was clearly bothering him physically. Instinctively, I curled closer to him, my legs tucked under a small sofa throw he had prepared for us to watch movies with.
