Mira's POV

“I love being a mother and all the headache that comes with it, but I don't think I can handle another pregnancy right now” I heard Kara say when I entered the nursery to check on the girls and the kids.

Were wolves were not like humans who would get pregnant when the baby is at least two years old in fact they could conceive the next month after giving birth.So conceiving now wasn't even a big deal.In fact Kara had waited long since her son was now seven months old.

“You are pregnant, oh my God congratulations” I excitedly shouted.

“ shhh, shhh,Keep it down girl, you might wake the kids and I don't want the guys to hear you”Kara said putting her finger on her lips.

“I'm not sure but I'm just suspecting because I'm becoming super sensitive again”she added

“You could be pregnant or you must be going in your heat”Lizzy said. I had learned that she wolves go in their heat every month for three to four days and they wouldn't leave their rooms until the heat is over which meant a lot of steamy s*x with their mates which helped make them a little bit comfortable.

“ I'm not sure which is which”Kara replied

“There is only one way to find out. Here, take this and you too take this” Lizzy said handing Kara a pregnancy test and she gave me pills that I hadn't seen before.Kara went to the bathroom to do the test as I inspected the pills.

“And why are you giving me these I'm not the one suspecting to be pregnant?” I asked confused.

“Don't be silly Mira, those are the birth control pills we've been working on in our laboratory at the medical school recently we used them on twenty people who have been constantly having s*x for three months and they work so I decided to get you some when I was coming from school.You can use those”Lizzy said

“ I know you care about my happiness and all but I think I can wait for Julio to find the solution” I told her trying to give them back.I was always waiting for this time to come and when it actually did, I was afraid and since childhood, I always despised pills and whenever I got sick, I would rather get injections as treatment than taking meds and she knew it.

“ Look sis, I understand and I know you are afraid but there is no need for you to be, this is what you've always wanted.Just take the pill and go get your man in bed”she said handing them back to me.

“You are right but I'm not going to go jump on Julio right now, I'll take them later” I said.I was still hesitant, I didn't know if I could take these pills.

“Whatever you decide honey but don't you dare throw my pills away, I know you too well.If you fail to take them, then bring them back“she warned.

“I give you my word, I won't throw them away, your brother is worth the trouble of taking the pill”I replied.

Just then, Kara walked out of the bathroom.

“So what does it say?”I eagerly asked hoping it could be positive.

“It is positive, baby number two is on the way”She announced.I excitedly wrapped my arm around her and congratulated her, Lizzy stood up and did the same.Though we weren't exactly shouting, Lilith heard us and she let out a small cry, letting us know that we should tone it down.she was a light sleeper.

“How do you feel now that you're pregnant and you weren't ready for the pregnancy” I asked

“Being pregnant comes with alot of discomfort, the nausea, feeling sick all the time, feeling tired and taking naps is sure as hell tiresome but now I already like my baby and he or she is worth it. I'm so happy our family is getting bigger“ she replied smiling as she petted her flat tummy.

I was so happy for her but I felt a little jealous too though I wouldn't tell them that.

“I have got to go let s*x know right away.He is going to be super excited”Kara said storming out of the nursery.

“Be careful momma”Lizzy yelled at the already disappearing figure.

“I doubt she even heard you”I said chuckling.

“She is a were wolf, I believe she heard everything I said”replied Lizzy

“I need to go to the city to see whether my girls will be willing to work with me at Palmer's”I said getting up.

“Well, I'm positive they will be more than happy to hear that.Leaving the pubs and working in that hotel is a dream come true for any-”she was cut short by the incoming message on her phone.

“s**t, I forgot that Arthur and I have a dinner date today.Let's go, I need to get ready ASAP”she said standing up too.

Kissing the kids goodnight, we left the nursery to get ready.

Once I was in my room, I sent Julio a quick text asking where he was before going to the bathroom but when I returned, I found out that he hadn't replied.Once I was ready, I went to check in his room to see if he was there since the other guys had left the office too.

I lightly knocked on the door twice but l changed my mind and opened the door.‘Why would I need permission to enter my mate's room?’.His room was empty since his TV was on with his favorite show the dog judge and the sound of water splashing in the bathroom, I Knew he was in there.I made myself comfortable on the couch watching the dog determining people's fate as I waited for my boyfriend to finish cleaning up.

“Come on cookie, why didn't you let me know when my favorite show started? Now it's almost done”I heard Julio whine.

“Shhh”I silenced him as I listened to the dog's final judgement.

“You spent almost thirty minutes in that bathroom, thirty f*****g minutes Julio, you are worse than an eighty year old human granny.I came to see if you could go with me to talk with the girls but you weren't leaving the bathroom.I wonder what you were cleani-“I said once the show was done and when I turned and looked at him, I couldn't finish my statement.
