8. DEAL

Mira's POV

“You can't be serious, were are we taking all that stuff, they are going to stay there for just a weekend not a decade” I asked Lizzy who was dragging a big suit case which she could fit in comfortably towards the car.

When Julio saw her struggling with the suitcase, he walked towards her and gave her a hand.He really loved and cared for his little sister like I did even though they had just been together for a year.It was Friday evening and we were going to spend the weekend at Julio's cabin, it was also going to be the first weekend that Cam, Rian and I were performing at Palmer's and I was really excited so we decided to drop Lily and Adrian at my mother's place.

“You guys take that stuff with them and you don't have to bring it back, they can just use it whenever they go to spend the weekend at their grandparents' house and I will just buy new stuff here”she replied

“ Or mom could have just brought them the stuff there but since you spent all your time packing, we will take them” I said putting the kids in the back seat.

“I also packed these, just in case the kids decide to cry and make you agitated” she said passing Julio the baby foods.“Take these too, you guys may also get hungry on the way”she added passing another two containers to him, What was wrong with her today.

“Stop fussing Lizzy, you know we can take care of these Kids just fine and we know how to cook and take care of ourselves just fine.

Julio walked towards her and held both her hands.

“Don't you worry Lizzy, Adrian and Lilith are going to be just fine” he told her. Lizzie had a brother and gave him a peck on his cheek.

“ I have no doubt about that Julio but I'm going to miss them alot”she said. I could understand her worries, her kids were going to stay at our parents' house for a whole weekend and she has never spent a whole day and night without her kids.

she walked towards me give me a hug and the Peck too.

“ Say hello to Mom and Dad, tell them I love them” she said “And we will be there at Palmer's to support you”she added

“Consider it done sis, take care and I will be waiting for all of you” I replied. she leaned in the back seat and give her kids lots and lots of kisses. when she was done she closed the door of the car.

“Okay guys I'm done, have a nice weekend” she said.

We entered the car and drove off.

“ I guess becoming a mother really makes people soft, I mean look at Lizzy she looks so nervous and worried nd when you see Cara with Eric you might never believe that she is the tough girl out of the pack house kicking people's asses”Julio said.

“Yes it does, I remember my mom being loving, caring and soft towards us when we were growing and she still is. I think it's just natural for most of the women and I wonder where the ladies who abandon and mistreat their kids get the courage from”I replied

“ I have no memory of my mother, so I can't wait to see you do all that for our future kids sweetheart” he said cupping my hand with his and gave it a soft squeeze. I really couldn't wait to have, love, take care and look out for my own kids but he had refused to turn me, so that would happen in a very long time. I couldn't tell him that cuz I never wanted to ruin the moment.

“In time you will honey” I replied smiling at him.

I pulled out my phone connected it to the car speakers and played some of my favorite music but I made sure to keep the volume down not to wake the kids, I didn't want them to cry because I disrupted their sleep.

“Damn, back there I was thinking that Lizzy was overreacting when she packed things for us but now I'm hungry” I said looking through the things that she packed for us.We were just halfway and I was already hungry but I would blame that on not having dinner before leaving.The kids were still sleeping though so I decided to just cater for myself.

Once I opened our package, my mouth began to water, the first container contained berries, grapes and bananas where as the second one which was the biggest contained lasagna and the mini container in it contained peanut butter and jelly.I would let the PB&J pass but I was definitely smashing the lasagna and these fruits.

“ I wonder when she made all this food”I said taking a bite on my Berry.

“Uhh, this is so good, you wanna have some?”I asked Julio.

He stopped the car and looked at me.

“What, did I say something that I shouldn't have?”I asked confused

“Yes you did cookie, you just moaned and you shouldn't have because now you destructed me from my driving”he replied pulling my hand away from my mouth and feeding himself the rest of the Berry and he licked the juice that had slipped down my hand.

“Now that tastes so good”He said “Can I taste you baby? ”He asked referring to my flower.

“I would really love that handsome but now I'm hungry, let me eat my food in peace and we have kids in the car, Lizzy wouldn't appreciate us giving these little ones a real show at such a tender age”I replied

“You right, but I'm getting you naked as soon as I get you behind closed doors”He said

“Deal”

“The sooner we drop the kids off, the sooner I get you to scream my name”he said as he sunk his teeth in the sandwich.

“You can't risk my niece and nephew's lives simply because you want to smash.You will have to drive them careful like the royals that they are.

“I hurt babe, you know I can never risk their lives because I want to smash.Their my niece and nephew too remember, I was referring to the food not driving”He replied

“I'm sorry handsome.I'm I forgiven?”I asked.Julio made an innocent face like that of a kid and shook his head left and right.

“First give me a kiss and then you will be forgiven”he said.It wasn't that big of a deal and I would give it to him whenever he wanted it.After kissing him, I went back to eating my lasgna and fruits.

“Why are you mixing food and fruits baby, it's food before dessert”Julio stated.

“Whoever made that rule should have known that it doesn't work on me”I replied with a shrug making him to chuckle.

“I hadn't seen anyone so care free like you are cutie pie and I'm not complaining”he said.

“Thanks for letting me know handsome”

Once we were done eating, Julio continued with the Journey to my parents house.

“Finally, you guys are here. I was starting to think that you lied to me” Mom said as soon as Julio pulled over at our house.

“You know we can not lie to you mom, but I believe you've heard of the word traffic jam”I joked

“You better show me some respect young lady or else I might just spend the whole night giving you lectures which I believe this gentleman wouldn't appreciate”She replied looking at Julio raising an eyebrow.Julio became nervous, his lips were moving but no word came out.

She definitely knew that Julio and I where sleeping together even though she told us to first find the solution on how to increase her grand kids collection with no complications.

I questioningly looked at her.Had Lizzy told on me? I would kick her ass as soon as I saw her again.

My mom laughed pat the both of us clearing the tension she herself had created.

“I'm an old person and I could tell that you guys couldn't reach this long without sleeping together while staying in the same house”She whispered but since Julio was a wolf, I knew he heard.

“But we have just started..”I was going to say we have just started sleeping together but I was cut off mid sentence.

“I knew family plannings existed but when I didn't see you suggesting it the day we discussed these matters at the pack house, I wanted to see if you would successfully abstain and it's not my fault that you have thought about that now, I must admit though you guys are my heros, I wouldn't have gone that long without pouncing on your father..”she replied.

“Mom!”I stopped her giving her a dirty glare.What did I do to deserve this embarrassment, his future son in law was here but she was freely talking about her s*x life with no problem.What kind of welcoming was this.

“I'm sorry guys, I think I talked too much.I am so happy to see you sweetheart”She said giving me a hug and a kiss.

“Nice to see you too mom, you have no idea how much I missed you”I replied kissing he cheek. She said she then went and hugged Julio who was at the boot of the car removing the kids stuff.

“My sweet little sunshines”Mom said as soon as I opened the back door revealing her grand kids.I carried Lilith and passed her mom and I also carried Adrian,Julio carried their stuff and we entered the house.Dad was just coming down from his bedroom, I walked towards him and gave him a hug.

“I missed the best dad in the whole world wide”I said

“I missed the one of the best daughter best daughter in the whole world wide”He replied giving me a peck.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Tina poking her head from the kitchen and smiled at me.I went to the kitchen and said hi to both her and Rita who were smiling from ear to ear after seeing me.Tina and Rita were our house helpers and had been with us for some time and were now part of our family.

“We missed you so much Mira”Rita said hugging me.

“I missed you too guys”I replied

“How is Lizzy doing?”Tina asked

“She is doing great, she asked me to tell to take great care of her pups”I lied

“She doesn't have to ask, we will take care of them the best way we know gow”Rita replied.

Once I was done greeting them,I went back to the living room and I saw Julio giving me a look that told me ‘We needed to leave’.

“Mom, dad we have to go before it gets too dark”I said to the both of them.

“You have been with me your whole life and I believe you already know the answer to that sweetheart and it's a “no” you aren't leaving until you get something to eat”she said.

“We are full ma'am, Lizzy packed for us some food and we've just finished eating it in the car”Julio said

“I am not buying that, I have not seen you eating and nobody leaves this house hungry not even a stranger”mom firmly stated.Walking towards the kitchen leaving no room for more arguments.

“Ladies, let's get everything ready my gets want to leave”I heard her telling Tina and Rita.

After knowing that it was pointless arguing with mom, I went to the kitchen and gave them a hand so that we could hurry up.Once everything was spread at the table, we all sat down to eat.We said goodbye to every one once they were all done and headed to Julio's cabin.

We were too tired to even move a muscle so we fell asleep.
