Lucy's POV
My eyes slowly opened to the light from the new day's sun coursing through the tall glass door. I stirred, reaching for Phil’s warm body beside me, but the space awakened me instead.
“Enjoyed your night?" Phil asked from where he stood by the mirror. His reflection smiled at me before he walked towards his wardrobe closet.
I smiled back, then propped myself up. “Maybe I did,” I replied. But the activity from last night dispersed around my body like a weakening virus.
