Chapter 39 – Combat Tactics
Admiral Stringer watched the various ship movements on his console. The throne room was a small place, not much bigger than a closet. Its purpose was to provide the battle group's admiral a place to direct the fleet without distraction or interference. All the data he could possibly want was displayed. He had comm channels for everyone, including the ground forces. He currently had an open one-way channel to the bridge so he could listen in. Best of all, his chair was big and comfortable, even taking into account the harness that would hold him in place if Sunfire lost artificial gravity.
