She looked away once more, cheeks flushed as her eyes continued to lock onto his. The darkness of his eyes drawing her further in. His lips curled up to a smile.
"Nova!" Her shoulders shook as the loud voice of her sister echoed in her ears. She winced, pushing her hands away as her eyes left his. She returned her attention to the looming figure before her: eyebrow raised in question.
"Do you plan to continue being weird? Or are you going to ruffle up your hair some more, stop biting your lip, and actually go talk to him?"
"Melody!"
She raised her arms in surrender, cursing as the itchiness of the dress she wore returned, the pain moving down the curve of her waist.
"I despise these clothes."
"They suit you," responded Nova, her voice shaky as the man with raven eyes stood up, drink in hand: walking over to the two. His eyes glimmering in amusement.
Nova, stopped herself from doing just as her sister suggested - ruffling her hair-- she pinned her hands down-- nervously smiling as the man walked closer and closer.
"Good evening, ladies," he bowed, slightly, his eyes passing over the two. Amusement danced in his irises at the flushed look that painted over her face.
"Evening," she found herself replying. Her breath hitched as her hand enclosed around a much larger, gentler one. A feather-like kiss placed upon it.
"Enchanting night, isn't it?" he whispered, breathlessly, his lips pressed against the warm skin of her hand. Eyes never leaving hers.
By now Melody had forsaken her place beside her sister and carried herself to join the rhythm playing amongst the other guests. She trusted one of her closest friends to not hurt someone dear to her.
"May I have this dance?" his lips pulled away from hers, hands still tightly holding her own.
She gave a meek nod, heat flowed up her arms to her cheeks
His smile widened his free arm wrapped around her waist, delicately, stealing her from the safe confines of the isolated table. His strong arms carried her to the beat of the soft melody playing around the room. He pressed her closer to his chest, lifted her by her waist: spun her around.
The music stopped. Her heart drummed against her chest as he brushed her fallen locks back, his face inching closer and closer to her own. Their lips intertwined as the music picked up once more.

She moaned and begged for him. She needed him. Her legs spread wider inviting him in. He gladly accepted. His lips met hers in a frenzy as they joined together, the sounds of their moans increasing. Her hands gripped at his shoulders, pulling him in.
Her lips moved down his neck, marking him as hers, as she cried out at his rough thrusts. Her head thrown back as she welcomed the pleasure. He joined their hands together as he followed her in his release, his teeth biting down on the exposed collar of her neck.

Bright, red, crimson blood dripped onto the dirty cement floor. Her body lay huddled up. Her bruised hand wrapped around her knees as the blood continued to trickle down.
She blamed herself. For him leaving. For the pain she caused him... It was all her fault after all.
"Nova?" She sniffled, clearing her throat as she yelled back, assuring the voice she was fine. Her eye looked down at her hands. The hands he touched. He pinned down. He held in his embrace as he made love to her.
He taught her love. Ruined her for any other man. He broke her...He broke himself.

The smile refused to leave her face as she watched the joy spread across her sister's face. She knew the trouble Nova had gone through, could relate to it. Though her heart still had scars that would never heal, she hoped he, he who made her laugh and made her forget the sadness that rained down on her, would protect her smile.
Her hand drew on the sand - an image of joy. An image mirrored by the arrow that got washed away by the sea. An arrow pointing at her sister's happiness.
She played with the beads around her neck, wishing to the wind.
"Please let them find love in each other. The broken pieces which can be fixed ... Together."
