Scarlett’s POV
She stared at us with a smile, the person that abandoned us during the time we needed her the most, was smiling at us as if nothing had just happened.
"Come on get in the car, it's about to rain," she tilted her head upward and stared at the grey, cloudy, sky.
We walked into the car, Tyler turned to look at the man.
"Who are you" he asked emotionless as we got into the car. The seats were leather, which were slightly uncomfortable.
The man turned his gaze from the road to Tyler, "I'm Jesse, your sister’s fiancé." He said this in a tone like if we should've know.
"We probably would've know this if she came to visit us" I muttered turning to look out the window.
"You know I have a name" Her voice filled my ears.
"Oh I'm sorry, Jesse we would've known you existed but Lizzy never visited us so what can you expect from us" I spat out trying to contain my rage.
"I'm not sure if you got sassy over the years or you if you were always like this and I never noticed" she said mockingly.
"Yeah well this is what happens when you miss 6 years of our life" I hissed out. My nails were starting to hurt, I could feel my claws trying to come out.
Cat wasn't even trying to hold me back, she was as pissed as me.
"I'm not in the mood for this" she mumbled, rubbing her temples.
"Oh I'm sorry, were you always like this, I mean for the past 6 years" I couldn't keep quiet, the car began moving and I could see the trees leading to the dark forest begin to emerge.
My body began to shake and I could feel Tyler's hand on my shoulder.
"Lizzy, stop the car" his voice was the only thing that was keeping me in my seat.
"What, why?" She asked not even turning to look at us.
"Just stop the damn car" Tyler shouted. Jesse parked his car, thankfully it was near the forest.
Once the car stopped, I instantly jumped out, my paws hit the ground as I ran into the thick wooded forest.
I could hear Tyler begin to call out my name, but I couldn't stop. I needed to lose some steam.
Lui's crying filled my ears, which stopped me abruptly.
What am I doing? This is exactly what Lizzy would do.
I turned around and walked back to the car. Lizzy was standing next to the car, her foot was tapping the cement ground angrily.
"What the hell do you suppose we do? I don't have any extra cloths" she fumed.
I stayed in the forest near the edge, I looked her straight in the eye and tried my best to shrug but it’s hard when you’re in the body of a huge cat.
She shook her head, opened the trunk, and threw spare cloths towards me.
I thought she didn't have any cloths' Cat hissed.
I grabbed the cloths with my mouth and walked deeper into the forest.
After changing into blue jeans and a white loose shirt I walked into the car, Lui ran up to me and slammed his fists into my stomach.
"Why did you do that? I thought you'd leave us" he sobbed.
I ruffled his blonde hair, "I'd never leave you guys, I promise."
He sniffled and hugged my legs. Nodding his head into my jeans.
"I'm sorry."
