The Chameleon Luna

So this is a story of my life a sad life but a life. I'm Phoebe grey im 17 but will be 18 tomorrow but i look 14 because im so skinny and small i'm about 4ft6 with long dark curly hair and green eyes. Nothing like my family i resemble my dad i think my mother is a redhead a tall thin women my step father and brother is also a red head there are rumors that my mother had an affair with my step father before my dad was murdered by rogues. my mother blames me for my father's death i was 2 years old in the woods playing with daddy when the rogues attacked so i don't know why i'm blamed my mother was pregnant with my brother at the time and with in 6 months of my dad's death my mother married the beta my step father. my brother a 6 month baby at the time inherited the beta title whilst i was still an omega and when i turned 5 i was moved to the basement of the home and began being the slave of the family i was tortured and beaten by my so called family and the pack. I woke up to my alarm at 430 to start my chores today is the Alpha ceremony. i was not looking forward to this change Alpha Kevin and Luna sophie's son Kyle will become the new Alpha with my brother Jackson becoming Beta and Shaun will become Gamma they have been my worse tormentors since i was little when i was 7 they stripped me naked and tied me to a tree and left me there for all to see until a groundskeeper cut me down around 11 30 at night i was beaten so hard by my mother and step father so bad that night as i wasn't home to cook and clean up at dinner. after that i wasn't allowed to attend school and my whole life purpose was turned in to being a  slave. i got up thrown on my tattered so called clothes which was just old hand me down that was  4 sizes to big. i really hope i will be fed today i haven't eaten in three days and my belly is hurting but i doubt i will everyone will be busy for the ceremony. i brushed my hair and tied it back into a bun at the nape of my neck brushed my teeth and went up stairs to start my chores and breakfast for the family before i have to go to the pack house to start work there. i finished all my chores and breakfast just in time a my Mother waltzed down the stairs in her emerald green night gown she always wears emerald green because one she says it makes her pale skin and fiery hair pop and emerald is the packs colour being the emerald moon pack. i bowed my head and greeted my "mother"  "good morning mam" she just ignored me like i didnt exist like usual. My brother came down next and pushed me over. "oh good morning my beautiful son how are you this morning ready for the big day!" my mother greeted my brother.i used to be jealous of the interaction and the affection between my family but now i just realise that will never be my life. "good morning mum yes as ready as ill ever be i'm going to be the best Beta this pack has seen!ill bring respect and honour to this family unlike that useless girl" he said as if i was not in the room. "Of course you will your my precious son" " what are you still standing there for go to the pack house and start your chores!" Jackson shouted at me. "Yes Brother" oops that was my first mistake of he day. "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME!I AM YOUR BETA AND YOU WILL ADDRESS ME AS SUCH YOU UNGRATEFUL WASTE OF AIR" he screamed at me as he pushed me over and kicked me straight in the belly. "yes Beta" i managed to breathe out before i dragged myself out of the room and made my way to the pack house i know i'll pay for that later. i arrived at the pack house and started breakfast for the pack as i was finishing up i heard the "IT "  girls gossiping about the arriving Alphas later today.  "Alpha jacob from crescent moon is coming to discuss a treaty with kyle after the ceromany"i heard kate say she is the ring leader of the group and Kyles girlfriend she will be named the new luna next month at the luna ceremony.im dreading that. " really he hasn't found his mate yet has he?" bella commented she's one of kate's followers " well between me and you i'm hoping to seduce him before he leaves i would rather be the luna at  crescent moon instead of here" kate whispered and the girls giggled. Kates slept with half the pack Kyle doesn't care either its so weird he also sleeps around but in public they act all loved up its so weird. i have always hoped my mate will take me from this hell i call life but now i know i'm not that lucky i'll probably be rejected. the day goes by uneventful a few names called and i have only been tripped twice today which is a bonus today is going to be a good day. i just finished my chores i was supposed to scrub all the guest rooms for the visiting Alphas. i was told i'm not allowed at the ceremony as ill make the pack look bad so tonight i'll have a peaceful evening i left the pack house just in time as blacked out cars started to pull up i ducked behind a tree so no one could see i was there two men climbed out the first car they was Beta and Gamma they was quite handsome really the Beta had blonde shaggy hair tall tan and muscular the Gamma looked like his twin but was slightly taller and thinner. as the second cars door opened i held my breathe a tall dark god like man climbed out tanned skin dark thick hair neat stubble on his face he stopped and sniffed the air slightly and looked towards my direction. i quickly hid behind the tree breathing heavily i hope he didn't see me. just then i heard the Alpha and Luna invite them in side as soon as i heard the door close i made a run for it back to the house. As i stepped in i knew i was able to breath no one was home and i had the house to myself till around midnight i sat on the sofa which if my family caught me doing i know i would get a whipping i stopped for an hour then put some music on not to loud so if any one passed by they could hear it but just enough i could dance. scrubbed the house so i didn't have to do it in the morning so i can sleep a little later for my birthday. i walked down to my basement had a quick cold shower slipped on my handy down pjs which was just a old tattered t shirt again and hopped on the my "bed" it was just cushions on the floor. i fell asleep instantly ready for my birthday tomorrow and  hopefully meet my wolf.
