PHOEBES POV

Just after Alpha jacobs left i found my self sobbing once again I'm not dead but am i even alive?

*of course we are alive child things are looking up i promise*

*but are they selene really i was happy but now they know our family doesn't love us our pack doesn't love us and now our mate we have no one im sure Lizzy is praying to the goddess herself to get rid of me*

*I promise Lizzy has not prayed she is worried about you our mate loves us hes in pain he's had a bad upbringing and he doesn't know what to do give him a chance our future is bright*

*i don't know about that im sure we will be sent back by the end of the night*

knock knock

"hello I'm here to pack you up and remove the fluids you are being discharged i will have someone escort you out" the doctor told me.

*Told you* i remarked to selene with an eye roll

After the doctor removed the cannula in my hand she passed me some clothes.

" there is a shower in the room over there here's some clothes someone will be here in 10 minutes to escort you ok?"

" Thank you" i said trying to hide my disappointment

"i hope i don't see you any time soon luna" she smiled at me and left.

*Did she just call me luna?/*

* yes dear she recognizes us even before you have shifted or marked*

* I think she might just be mistaken at least with me leaving no one can accidently call me that again*

i climbed into the shower and cleaned myself up i took a little longer than was needed i just wanted to make the most of a hot shower and actual soap i know when i get  back i wont be allowed a shower again only my cold hose pipe.

I heard a knock on the door that made me jump.

" hello mam are you ok in there it's been 20 minutes do you need me to call someone"  SHITSHITSHIT

" sorry ill be right out" i called back whilst jumping out i grabbed the clothes they wasn't mine it was a large t shirt and male shorts i smelt them and they had the faint scent of my mate on them did they accidently give me the Alphas clothes.

* put them on* selene purred in my head . i have to i have nothing else and i took to long in the shower. i quickly threw the clothes on and stepped out my scars visible.

the man outside was a warrior for sure he was huge chiseled very handsome but nothing like my mate.He had a huge scar across his face.

"hello mam I'm here to escort you come with me please "

" yes sir" he led me out the door and down the hall.We got to the lobby and he took me outside we walked for about a quarter of a mile before we was in front of the pack house. I thought he was going to lead me to a car in the garage but instead he walked me up the stairs and inside we walked up 4 flights of stairs he must be lost I'm sure this is the Alpha floor.

" Alphas door is the last to the left knock before entry" he said before turning and leaving. i started to slowly walk down the corridor my fear getting larger and larger as i get closer. i now stand out side the door knowing my life's about to change or end.

"come in" i heard him say i hesitated for a second do i enter?

I slowly opened the door and entered to find three men stood staring at me.

" yes come in sit down the boys was just leaving"The Alpha said as i walked to a chair he had gestured too i was feeling unnerved everything was so calm.

" yeah right come on tommy we got to go to the kitchen later Alpha luna" Beta ryan said.Once again with the luna word but this time in front of the Alpha but to my surprise he didn't say anything.Once they left there was a bit of an awkward silence he just stood there looking at me. 

" Can i sit with you?" he sks which took my breath away did he just ask to sit with me.ME of all people 

" yes alpha "

"please call me jacob"

"yes alpha"

" right... well where to start i guess the beginning is best"

i looked up too see what was going on he was sat down looking at me trying to think what to say.

" So my father was a tosser he was cruel and mean cliche i know he was a cheat and abusive to my mother his fated mate but as he got more evil he started to get weaker he didn't realise hurting his own fated mate was hurting himself he was ruthless and an all out wanker one day he beat my mother so bad she almost died i was 16 at the time he beat me on a regular using all his strength he called it training so i knew his strength and how to beat him i knew i didn't have my wolf yet so it would have to be hand to hand combat so i challenged him i knew if i died then at least i died with a meaning defending my mother and future pack." i just sat there watching him spill his life story tears were in my eyes i don't know if it was sorrow for him and his mother or just everything but i just kept listening.

" I challenged him to the death and he laughed at me told me he will kill me and how easy this will be i was kind of glad my mother was still in her coma because i knew if she saw what was about to happen it would kill her. we battled for 3 hours straight i could barely see blood was pouring out of my leg he wasn't better off tho he was missing an eye and i bit off pieces of both his ears it was a bloody battle my father had me pinned to the floor throwing punch after punch i was about to go unconscious when all of a sudden i felt it the bond break my mother had just past away" At this point I'm in full blown tears i now know this is sorrow sorrow for him and his mother the fear he must of felt.

"my emotions kept me alive i was about to shut my eyes when i felt my mums presents and she whispered in my ear now darling do it now and with that i realised what she meant i grabbed my father's head between both my hand with my thumbs in both his eyes i dug in with all my strength whilst twisting his whole head he had his claws withdrawn and he was trying to dig them into my side but that didn't stop me i twisted and twisted until i heard a snap i broke his neck he went limp and the whole pack howled in pain of losing both luna and Alpha mainly Luna my mother but after they helped me up and cheered i was made the new alpha."he stopped and looked at me and paused for a minute then continued " After that i decided i wouldnt have a fated mate she would make me weak i thought then when my father stopped to look towards the hospital where his mate died it gave me the opportunity to beat him she was her weakness" I sat there listening i realised he is about reject me.

"But now i realise that is not the case he was actually her weakness he didn't protect her cherish her care for her he was evil and cruel and my mother died that day to save me to save this pack"

"she must of been a really brave Luna" i replied in shock 

"what I'm saying is i need to apologies for my actions i treated you wrong from the first day i saw you i should of saved you cherished you loved you i know i never put my hands physically on you but i did much worse i emotionally rejected you and i have no idea how you have dealt with it i didnt stop once to hear your life story or even your name i had to use my Alpha command on those two idiots" 

" I'm not asking for forgiveness im asking for a chance will you give me a chance Phoebe grey "

i just sat there gobsmacked did he say what i thought he said he wants a chance with me.ME

" Yes alpha" i breathed  out he reached out and touched my hand i flinched automatically 

"Jacob" he corrected 

" sorry Jacob"

 "where did those scars come from" i froze on the spot what do i do he just spilled his life secrets to me should i tell him mine what if its a trap
