Chapter 46: Caught Red Handed

Once Bridgit left the room, I was left alone with my thoughts and paranoia. Not a good combination. I looked around the room a couple times, making sure everything was in place. I eyed every distinct detail of the bedroom, knowing if something was off that Leonardo would notice it.   I eventually heard noise downstairs, signaling that Leonardo was probably home. At this information, I limped quickly over to the bed set in the center of the room, and sat atop it. I tried to remember if there was anything else Leonardo wanted me to do, but I didn't have much time to think before I heard him start coming up the stairs.  My heart was racing and head pounding from the adrenaline coursing through my body.
