"Oh my God." The doctor panicked, then she rushed to Brenda's side.
"Oh dear, please calm down, please." The doctor cooed as she hugged Brenda.
Brenda began to weep, she just finds it hard to believe that she's pregnant, she cried uncontrollably, and the doctor did her best to comfort her.

Brenda walked out of the hospital looking so dejected, she wasn't even looking at where she was going to, she bumped into someone and she fell to the floor.
"Are you blind, watch where you're going lady." The lady said, then she left.
"You're two weeks pregnant." The doctor's voice rang in her ears.
"You'll need to take good care of yourself now."
Brenda placed a hand on her stomach.
"I'm pregnant, I'm pregnant with a stranger's baby." She whispered, and the tears began to fall from her eyes again.
"How could this happen, why did i let this happen? What will my family say, what will everyone say or do to me when they find out." She said in tears.
"What have I done to myself."
"Why have I done to myself." She repeated, then she began to slap herself.
"Hey." A man who was passing by called as he rushed to her side.
"Oh dear, what are you doing? Get up please." He said, then he helped Brenda to stand up.
"What happened to you dear? Why are you like this?" The man asked in concern.
Brenda couldn't reply, all she did was cry.
The man sighed deeply.
"Do you need any help? Please stop crying." The man said softly.
Brenda sniffed, then she wiped off her tears.
"I I'm fine sir, thank you for the concern." She said, she made to leave, but the man stopped her.
"Will you be fine on your own? Where do you live? I can take you there." The man said.
"Thank you so much sir, but I'll be fine on my own, I truly appreciate your concern." Brenda said truthfully.
The man nodded.
"Alright then, just take care of yourself, and remember this, no matter what you're going through right now, you shouldn't give up, take care of yourself." The man said, then he left.
Brenda sighed deeply, she adjusted her bag on her shoulder, she'll have to try to keep this a secret from her family, if they find out, she wonders what they'll do to her, most especially her mother.
A lone tear slipped down her cheek and she immediately wiped it off, then she began her walk home.
****
Brenda arrived at home, the moment she got in, she met Anne standing in front of her.
"Look who's finally back." Anne scoffed.
Brenda choose to ignore her, she made to walk past Anne, but Anne grabbed her arm and she pushed her back.
Brenda's bag fell from her hand, and her pregnancy results fell from it.
"I'm not done talking to you and you wanted to leave." Anne said in annoyance.
Brenda's eyes went to her pregnancy results, and she swallowed nothing.
"Anne can't see that." She panicked.
She bent down and she hurriedly took her bag and the pregnancy results, she shoved the envelop into her bag, and Anne saw her doing this.
"What's that?" Anne asked with a frown.
"I I it's nothing." Brenda stuttered.
"Then why are you hiding it, you're acting suspicious Brenda, and now I want to know what's in that envelope, mom mentioned that you went to the hospital, I'm sure that's your test results, so hand them to me and let me see them, who knows, you might have gotten an incurable disease and you're trying to hide it."
"I don't want you infecting any of us here, so let me see them." Anne ordered.
"Just leave me alone Anne, I don't know what you're talking about." Brenda said.
She was beginning to get scared by now, she knew if Anne sees her pregnancy results, she'll run straight to their mother and that'll be the end of her, only God knows what they'll do to her.
"b***h!!" Anne spat.
She tried to forcefully take Brenda's bag from her, but Brenda wouldn't let go.
"What the f**k are you doing? Let go right now." Anne yelled.
"Stop it Anne, I don't know what business you have with my results." Brenda yelled back.
Both began to struggle for the bag.
"If you don't let go right now I'll call mother and tell her you're hiding something from us, what the f**k are you trying to hide huh? Do you truly have a disease?" Anne said, then she let go of the bag, and Brenda clutched the bag tightly to her chest.
"Since you're being so stubborn, I'll just call mother to come get it instead." Anne smirked.
Brenda looked at her with wide fearful eyes, and Anne smiled in satisfaction seeing the look of fear on Brenda's face.
"Mother." She screamed.
"What!!" Marian yelled from upstairs.
"Please come mother, you're needed here, and father too." Anne said, looking directly into Brenda's eyes.
Soon, Marian came downstairs with Peter behind her.
"What's it Anne? Why did you call us down here?" Marian asked.
"It's Brenda mom."
"Yes? What about her?"
"Tell her to show us what she's hiding in her bag, she's come home with some report and she's refusing to let me see it, who knows, she might be carrying a disease and she's definitely trying to hide it from us." Anne said.
Marian sighed.
"Show me the results Brenda, you said you weren't feeling and then you went to the hospital, so, let's see the results." Marian said sternly.
"Please mother, don't listen to Anne, she's—"
"The results, now!" Marian interrupted, and Anne nodded in approval.
"Let's see the results Brenda, don't waist our time, otherwise we'll have to take it from you by force." Peter said.
Brenda looked at each of them, she knew she had no other option than to show the results to them, the worst they'll do is to kill her, and she wouldn't be surprised.
She slowly brought the result from her bag, then she gave it to her mother.
Marian snatched the result from her and she hurriedly opened it, she brought out the paper from the envelope, and she read what was in it.
Marian jaw dropped in shock and the result fell from her hand, she looked at Brenda in shock.
"You're pregnant."
