I hit the gas as I was getting back on the highway. Watching my rear view mirror, I could see the SUV flying up behind me. I was thankful that it was dark outside, so I could shift if I had to. They stayed a car-length behind me for awhile, and I tried to think of how long they had been following me. I wasn't exactly sure, but I started getting a feeling of being watched about an hour after I left the cabin. They've got to be hunters looking for Siah.
Luckily, I'm still a long way away from my destination. I have plenty of time to throw them off my trail or fight them, whichever they choose. I hit the gas and started going faster.
