Chapter 54 The forest is silent. It was normal for it to be silent when it was swallowed almost entirely by snow, but this silence was different. It was the silence that let everything know there was a big predator around and that everyone should remain hidden. I didn’t like it. Maybe I was simply paranoid, but better safe than sorry.
