Chapter 27

Nathans POV.

I turn around the second I hear Lea behind me.

"No Lea!" I shout but she jumps over my head and shifts mid-air. She lands on the floor in the foyer and I'm shocked! Her wolf was baby-blue last time but now she's white like snow. We hear a vicious, brutal roar coming from Lea and every person in the foyer submits to her. I look at Luka and he's just as shocked. I look at Lea again, she's huge, even bigger than Jeremiah.

'She's beautiful.' Jer says in awe. And I agree with him, I have only heard stories about white wolves, they are the purest and most rare in our world. My mother used to tell me stories about the white wolves being a direct descendant from the Moon Goddess, a mother wolf.

"She's a mother wolf, Nathan. Do you know how rare they are?" Luka says and I nod. I walk down the stairs with Luka. I watch her as she puts Alpha Blade in his place. Damon comes up on my right side, he look like hell.

'What the f**k happened to you? You were suppose to look after her?' I growl at him and his only respone is a growl. I hear Alpha Kyle snarl at Lea and she runs forward with impressive speed. She jumps on his back and bites down on his shoulder. She rips off a big piece when jumping off and Kyle howls in pain. She snarls at him but he won't back down. He runs forward, biting after her front legs but she jumps to the side and bites down on the side of his throat.

"Stop, Lea!" I shout. She lets go of Kyle and he collaps on the floor, still alive, thank god. She faces us now and bares her teeth at me, I put on my hands.

"Please Lea, shift back." I beg her but she's still furious. Her anger fills my body and my heart pounds faster. Suddenly I hear Lea's voice in my head, it's feels weird.

'She wants Jeremiah.' She says to me. 'This is not a mind link, is it?' I ask with confusion, it doesn't feel like it. 'No.' She snarls at me and I let Jeremiah have the control. I shift and Jeremiah rubs his body against hers. He tries to communicate with her.

'Please baby, you have to shift. Do it for me.' He begs her.

'I'm so sorry. Please don't punish Lea.' She says. Her voice is different and her wolf has full control.

'Everyone get out.' I order through the mind link and everyone walks out the packhouse.

Jeremiah keeps rubbing his body up against hers and I can feel her rage gettting smaller and smaller.

Lea shifts back and so do I. She rises from the floor and rushes over to me. I hug her with all my heart and keeps my hands around her body. I bury my nose in her neck and inhale her delicious scent. I can feel her body getting heavy and she passes out. I look at her and she looks so peaceful.

"Damon, mind link the doctor, get him here with some of the nurses." I order him and he nods.

I carry her to my room and place her on the bed, I pull a blanket over her. As much as I would love to stay, I have to solve this mess with Blade and Kyle. I giver her one last look before I head down to the foyer again. Both Blade and Kyle is back in their human forms. Kyle's mate is crying her eyes out next to Kyle, he's still alive but weak, Lea really got him good. The nurses is going over his wounds and they carry him away on a stretcher.

The doctor comes over to me.

"He's badly injured, Alpha. I'm not sure he will make it, I'm sorry." He trails off and I see Kyles mate sobbing next to the stretcher.

"Thanks doc, I will come when I'm done here." I tell him and he nods. I look at Blade, he's already healing and he looks better. I walk over to him and he looks down on the floor.

"So, you will tell me the truth about you and Lea now." It wasn't a question, it was an order. He nods and I look at Luka.

"Take him to my office." He nods and pull Blade up. They walk in silence up to my office. I look around the foyer and what a mess! There's blood everywhere and furniture is broken.

'Hazel, will you please come to the foyer?' I mind link one of our omegas. She's beside me in a minute, panting from running.

"Yes Alpha." She smiles and I return it. Hazel is a good girl, she lost her parents a year ago and I offered her a job in the pack house.

"Will you clean up this mess, Hazel? If you need any help, just call the others and tell them I gave you permission to use them." She nods but look a little nervous.

"I don't think the others will like me ordering them around?" She sighs and I know what she means. I mind link the other omegas.

'Listen up everyone, I need you to clean the foyer and Hazel is in charge.' I look at Hazel and she's relieved. She nods and get to work right away. I walk up the stairs to my room again, to check on Lea. She's still sleeping, so I head to my office.

I burst through the door and see Damon, Luka and Blade. Blade looks terrified and his eyes is wide. I walk over to him and grab him by his collar.

"Tell me who the hell you are. Who you really are." I snarl and he nods his head. I let go of him and take a step back.

"I'm sorry for lying but we had too. I'm.. I'm Leas beta and my name is actually Cain." He looks down on the floor. Damon and Luka exchanges looks.

"As you have figured out, Lea is a Mother wolf, she's a direct descendant of the Moon Goddess. She asked Lea not to tell you who she really is and Lea did as she asked." He looks at me, he's telling the truth.

"So you're telling us, the Moon Goddess asked Lea not to tell us who she really am? Why?" Damon asks him and Cain looks at him.

"I have no idea, we thought it might be a test for you." He looks at me with confusion. But I'm not confused, of course this was a test for me. The Moon Goddess wanted to test my priorities, could I accept Lea if she was only a Beta. I mean, that's why I didn't mark her right away, I kept thinking about the prophesy.

"Okay." I say and turn around walking to my desk.

"But we have to keep her safe, Nathan. Someone will come for her and you need to protect her. They have already tried." Cains mumbles the last sentence and I look at him.

"What do you mean something has already tried?" I ask with worry.

"He tried 5 years ago. When our pack was slaughtered." He looks down on his hands and I feel sad for him, I can't imagine what that most have been like. Seeing brothers, sisters and children get killed.

"He killed your pack because of Lea?" Damon asks him.

"Yes, he wanted Lea and her parents wouldn't give her up, of course. I tried to protect her the best I could but she saw her father and brother get killed. She even tried to safe them but she couldn't." A tear falls down his cheek. I feel anger filling my body.

"Who is this guy? And why do he want Lea?!" I snarl. Cain looks at me and then behind me with wide eyes. I haven't even noticed her scent before he looked horrified.

"Lea I'm sorry, I had to tell them. They have to know about him." I turn around and look at her, but it's not Lea who looks back at me, it's her wolf.

"Did my family get killed because of me?" She snarls at Cain. He looks terrified and I decide to block her from him. I go in front of her and she looks at me, her eyes turns navy again and tears appear in them.

"They died because of me." She whispers and she lets the tears fall. I wipe the tears away with my thumb and kiss her. The sparkles tingle on my lips and I pull away.
