Chapter 29

Leas POV

I go straight to the hospital with Nathan, Damon and Luka right in my butt. Nathan tried to keep me from going there, but I did this. I hurt him and I'm the only one who can undo this.

"Lea, please wait." Nathan says behind me but I can't. I know my salvia is keeping him from healing and Blade took a good turn on him. I start running down the stairs and through the foyer, turning left and down the corridor. Nathan shouts behind me but I just keep running.

'I swear to god, Blade if he's dead because of you, I will never forgive you.' I snarl to her. She hasn't said a thing since she found out about my family, though she wanted to kill Cain for lying to me. I reach the hospital wing and open the door. I see Alpha Kyles Luna crying her eyes out in the middle of the hall.

I walk over to her and she looks up from the ground and instantly snarls at me. I get down on my knees and take her hand. She tries to get away from me but I had her trapped between me and the wall. She's afraid off me and with good reason.

"Please forgive me." I whisper to her. She looks at me with wide eyes and tears falls down her cheeks. She doesn't say anything when I get up and walk to his room. I can hear the machines and people barking orders in there. I open the door and feel Nathan behind me. The doctor sees me and starts to protest but Nathan shuts him up.

I walk over to his bed and look at him. He's in a respirator with wires all over the place. He's pale and has lost a lot of blood. I can hear the doctor talking to Nathan.

"He's not healing, Alpha. Not even a little bit. I don't no why." He looks at me and so does Nathan. I know why he's not healing and I need to do something fast. I cut my wrist with my claws and I'm about to press my wrist to Kyles mouth but Nathan pulls me back immediately.

"What the hell are you doing?!" He growls and I know he's angry. Sharing blood is almost as intimate and sacred as a mate mark but it's the only way I can save him. I look into his golden obs, the anger is in control.

"I can save him. I did this to him, please let me save him." I beg him. He studies my face a long time before he lets go of my arm.

"You want to share blood with.. him?" He looks hurt and my heart breaks for him.

"No I don't, but I'm the reason he can't heal. My salvia is like poison and the only way I can heal him is with my blood." I turn my body around so I'm fully facing him. I take my hand up to his cheek and he kiss my palm. He close his eyes and we stand there, frozen in time.

A couple of minutes pasts before the doctor clears his throat, gaining our attention.

"I may have a solution. You can't give blood through his mouth without blood sharing but you can give it too him like a blood transfusion? I can take a sample of your blood and inject him with it. You bodies won't touch and therefore no intimate blood sharing." He looks very pleased with himself when he says the last part and I want to kiss him.

"Jackson, you're a genius! I want to kiss you right now!" Nathan shouts and I giggle. That would be a pretty sight.

"Yeah me too." I laugh when he puts his hands up.

"Hey, I'm happily married." He gives me a wink before he starts taking a needle out of a drawer. He gestures for me to sit down on a chair and I do.

"I will take some of your blood and inject him with it, it won't hurt." He gives me a smile and stick the needle in my vein. I look away but I can hear the tube being filled with my blood. Jackson makes a gasp and I look down. The tube is filled with a golden liquid and Jackson looks at me with both awe and horror.

"What the hell?" Nathan says behind him.

"What?" I ask them and they look at me like I'm crazy.

"Why is your blood golden?" Nathan asks me and how the hell should I know? It has always been golden.

"It has always been like that?" I tell them and they look at eachother. Their mind linking, how rude of them.

'She's a mother wolf, Jackson. Can that be the reason?' I can hear him ask Jackson. Jackson looks at me and then at Nathan.

'Can I take another sample?' He asks Nathan and I getting a little annoyed now.

"Why are you asking Nathan that? It's my blood, dude." I tell him and his eyes snap to look at mine. Nathan chuckles and I can hear his thoughts.

'Sorry babe, forgot about your little gift.' He scratches the back of his head.

"It's okay. To answer your question Jackson, then yes. You can take another sample and examine it." I look at Jackson and gives him a smile. He looks frighten but manage to get himself together.

"You can read my mind?" He asks nervously. I see Damon and Luka giving eachother a strange look but I won't invade their minds. I already know what they think.

"Yes, I can hear your thoughts." I tell him. Damon looks like he's about to faint.

"I'm glad you found your mate, Damon." I say to him and he freezes. I looks at Nathan who only gives him a big smile.

'I won't tell him, Damon. It was harmless and doesn't matter now when you have Cathy.' I tell him in his mind. He smiles and looks relieved. Jackson takes my blood and a needle and then he injects Kyle with my blood. We all look with curiosity when his skin begins to heal with a lighting speed. He regains his color and within a minute he's fully healed and wakes up with a gasp.

Jackson is quickly to disconnect him to all the machines and wires. He looks around and when his eyes land on me, he starts to panic.

I walk out the room without a word and bring his Luna into the room. He relaxes when he sees her and his eyes is on her.

"I'm sorry. I lost control and that's not acceptable, I know. I hope you can both forgive me." I say to both of them. They exchanged looks and then they smile to me.

"We forgive you. You saved him afterall." The Luna says and I feel relieved. Kyle nods and Nathan comes up behind me, embracing me from behind.

"This is your new Queen, Kyle. I'm sorry you had to see her like that." He says to him and Kyles eyes widens a second before he smiles.

"Pleasure to meet you, my Queen." He says while making a little bow. I giggle and suddenly I come to think about why they even fought in the first place.

"Mind me asking, why you were fighting with Alpha Blade?" I asks him and his smile is gone.

"I believe it's my fault, my Queen. Kyles sister is with us here and she's apparently Alpha Blades mate." His Luna says and my eyes widens. I'm about to choke on my spit. Why the hell didn't he tell me.

'Did he get a change?' Blade asks dryly. I guess not.

"And what is the problem then?" Nathan asks for me. Kyle and his Luna look at each other again, obviously afraid of saying the truth.

"She's promised to someone else." Kyle says and I feel the anger rising.

"So?" I ask cold. They jump by the sudden change in my tone and Nathan looks at me, he takes my hand and I feel Blade relax again.

"We have a very important alliance with another pack, they're not here, my King. But if they don't get my sister for their son, the Alpha will declare war." I can feel their emotions and they're all over the place.

"Well that would be very stupid of him since you're in an alliance with me, the king. Who is it?" Nathan asks him.

"He doesn't know that, my King. It's Alpha Brody." My world starts to spin by the mention of his name. He has caused so much damage already and know he's tormenting someone else.

"Lea?" Nathan can feel my panic and his beside me when everything goes black.
