I am Bodunrin Marvin, a son to one of the most successful Nigerian businessman. I was formerly based in the States but my dad told me to come home to take over his company. I was happy cause I would be able to see my girlfriend anytime I wanted. I picked up my phone and texted my sweet mom Good morning and my girlfriend, Alexa. I went into the bathroom, brushed my teeth and had my bath. I was dressing when I received a call from my gate man through the intercom that my order had arrived, I told him to send it through one of the maids while I quickly dressed up. Sighting Marvin's car, I ran downstairs as I had missed him. I went downstairs while my gatemanhad opened the gate for him to enter. "Alright, I will be there now". ~Marvin~ I stood up immedately and dressed up, I checked the time it was 8:30pm. "Of course", Alexa said and beamed with smile. ~Alexa~ I went into my wardrobe and picked a dress, I didn't know why I felt like wearing a beautiful dress, it wasn't like we were going for a party or something, I just wanted to feel nice at Marvin's parents place. We went into the car, the Road was still busy and there was no much traffic. "This country is something else men", We were in the car on our way. "Why did you say that". "Why shouldn't I, look at bad roads, see people holding torch light, this country is bad men don't tell anything apart from that". In no time, we got there and Marvin parked inside the superb building. I must admit Marvin is from a very wealthy family. We went inside, I met his parents panicking. I greeted them and they replied knowing me to be their son's fiancee. "It's in the hall", his mom said and we headed there. The compound had a hall which they used to entertain visitors as not everybody were allowed to enter the main building. We got there and I met the hall filled with guests, I wondered what was going on. It was filled with lovely decorations as some group of people we serving people smalls chops. I felt Marvin leave my side and go to the stage. I ran after him, who wants to get stranded? Getting there he entered the curtain used to cover those at the stage. I entered along with him and saw Marvin on his knee's with a beautiful sparkling diamond ring with looked expensive. "Was he proposing or what?" I asked myself. Just then the curtain was opened and those outside were looking at us "Alexa Johnson, I want to spend the rest of my life with no one else but you, you are the light I need in my life forever, I need you to be by my side forever and ever. "YES I DO",I screamed and slide the ring into my fingers and raised his hands up for me to Drag him up, u did as he requested and he hugged me and gave me a kiss on my lips. "I love you Alexa", he whispered into my ears. I heard few whisperings among people. "How i wish I find someone to love me just like this man". "He's so humble, so he could actually kneel down, I thought wealthy kids were spoilt". "Am crushing on him". I beamed with smiles when I heard them and continued greeting the rest of the guests. I went into the main building with Marvin. "Baby, you never seem to amaze me, that was superb, I never suspected a thing". "So why did you wear something beautiful even at night". "It would be improper to wear an anyhow outfit to your parents house". "I see, I need to rest babe", he said.
