I stopped and watched the vampires and fae from the doors. Everyone seemed so happy, they seemed brighter and their eyes shinned with new light. Even the stony exterior of the fae kings was melting. Although it was amusing to watch them as they interacted with their people. Their smiles seemed almost forced, though you could see their true happiness in their eyes. Their hesitance and forced smiles did make me wonder though just how little happiness they had in their personal lives. Made me wonder just how much interaction they actually had with their people. Not that it was my place to ask.
My eyes drifted to Orion and Lorelei, and I had to stifle a laugh. Lorelei took a running jump, tackling Orion onto his back as she sat on his chest laughing and giggling. Orion was smiling up at her,
