"I didn't exactly ask. I couldn't just be like 'Oh, hey Gabriel. what are you doing here? Are any other archangels with you?' now could I?" I said sarcastically.
He narrowed his eyes at me but I just raised a brow at him. I was shaken, and I wasn't scared to admit it. Gabriel wasn't as intimidating as I thought he'd be but that could just be because he had his power locked away, or he didn't want to frighten me. It could be a number of reasons.
