"How'd it go?" Steel asked as I walked back into the office.
"Good I think." I said wrapping my arms around him from behind and resting my cheek on his back. "Turns out all the fae court kings and vampire clan leaders were there. They were in the middle of battle plans."
"They what?" Steel bellowed, looking down at me.
"They stopped planning, even told me what they were doing. They know about Darius's fall and will all be here in two days. And I got clarification from Cassius that all of you can indeed stay with me should that be what you want. He said yes."
Steel sighed and rested his forehead against mine, a light chuckle rumbling in his chest. "Fallon you know I am not going anywhere. Wherever you are is where I'll be."
