Chapter Eight Four

I don't know how long I slept but it couldn't have been more than two or three hours, because I could still feel Lucifer's warm body beside me. But I was more worried about what woke me up than how long I slept. Someone was in the room, someone I whose presence I didn't recognize. I kept my breathing even as if I were sleeping and carefully peeked my eye open. Just enough to see, but not enough that anyone would notice.  Two people were creeping towards the bed. One was a man. He was tall and well built, but slim. His caramel colored skin stood out against his rust colored hair. And from here, he looked to have black eyes. The other person was a woman.
